No Queens were Harmed in the MAKING of This Crown

One of these crowns is my own creation...and one is not...can you see the one?
I have been a busy girl! Not only did the crown I asked the "Urban Barn" store come in....but it was 1/2 price! got it for $16! yea me! I also got busy and went to work fashioning my own design! (please excuse the giant mess that my kitchen is in when you are looking at the photos)
I am pretty sure you will be able to tell immediately which one is home made...and which one is not... All I had to say to myself is...."not bad for a first try!"

Okay I finally have the courage to ask this and show my lack of decorating sense....just when did the crown obsession start and is it a Canada thing? I'm wondering if I'm missing something here and they're really starting to call to me too! I think you did a fabulous job whichever one you made! Oh, and I absolutely don't see ANY MESS in your kitchen! Cindy

Hey Tootsie, we're just busy here at the greenhouse trying to hire merchandisers/plant enthusiasts for our Garden Centers from BC to AB to MB and I'm wondering if you might have some peeps out your way who might be interested in some part time work in the Spring? It's 2 to 3 hours per day watering our plants, tidying up, picking out the bad plants that won't sell, etc.

Any takers out there? I thought you might know someone who knows someone!

Tootsie!! How have ya been girl?!! I came over here for some crown therapy *winks* I knew you wouldn't let me down! Lol! But girl I had no idea you'd be making them! And not a bad effort at all my friend!! I have really missed reading your blog and I have to tell ya you're totally cracking me up with all your angst over your cactus. Ya see it's the one and only plant I've ever been able to grow...in large part because I totally ignore them for months sometimes! Not delicate at all!! And I just find it so ironic that I have zero trouble with cactus but I can't keep anything else living to save my life! Sorry about that I just couldn't help myself! Oh BTW I love your new crown hook too! Vanna
