$20.00

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by:
holding up a $20.00 bill.
In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.
He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied, "What if I do this?"
And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "
Now, who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.
It was still worth $20.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.
The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.
You are special -
Don't EVER forget it."
If you do not pass this on, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can bring.
Count your blessings, not your problems. "
And remember: amateurs built the ark .. professionals built the Titanic.
If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it.

I post this to those who have proven themselves as true. I will be away for a bit longer. I hope no one was concerned. What a busy time this has been, and once and a while something has to be slack to make up for the rest. Unfortunately, my blog is the slack for now. I will be back full strength soon...so be ready. In the mean time...if you have questions...leave them...I already proved I will answer them! lol

In response to your comment on my blog about commenting protocol...
What the hell is normal? LOL
Glad you found a minute for such a great post. Can't wait until you can blog more regular, but I will.
I have been blogging for only 7 months and have found more great people to chat with than the town I was born in and still live in.

Great post! I assume you are working your little fingers to the bone with all your gardening. That's what I should be doing. Miss you and see you soon!

I am proud of you! You human dynamo you! I had to read your comment twice because I read it wrong. I though you were talking about "hills" and figured you meant hills of clutter, but didn't get the "ADD" part so thought you meant addition and nothing made sense at first. Aren't I silly?

Hi Tootsie,I have not been able to blog much either.Sometimes a person can't fit everything the want to in the day.I look at my blog as a FUN part of my day.The day I feel that it's a job and that I'm obligated to do so many posts per week or comments is the day I will shut it down.I just want to have fun~! I loved this post,it's a good reminder and so true.
Take care, see you when you are free,

Hi Tootsie, I loved the explanation of the crumpled $20 bill. Thanks for an uplifting story--I'd never heard that before, and it helps me understand a bit what we human creatures mean to the heart of God, who made us in His image.

Hi Tootsie! I am so glad you found me! Don't know what lead me to RMS but I am so glad I did because it opened up this wonderful world for me! And Oh MY Gosh!!! That garden is beyond beautiful! It looks like heaven on earth! You must be green all over!! I always start every year with such great expectations and then by the end of June it's so hot here everything just looks fried no matter how I try to keep things watered. I think my problem is fertilizing...I'm sorry to admit I don't do this like I should! I am definitely going to be looking for tips! You should be in garden magazines! God Bless! Lauralu :)

Hey, you gotta get out more.....too bad you couldn't give a guess. I will be in EDMONTON on the 24th of March to do a seminar. Wanna meet me at West Edmonton mall for a bit of shopping?

Anyway, my game is still ongoing because I had ANOTHER lay over. Can you guess where that was?

This is a wonderful post. The strange thing is that some time ago, my husband taped a note to the computer. The note says, "If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it."
