It's Friday!!!! Hey Gollum...Quick Question....

Okay kids...you know what this means!!!! IT'S FERTILIZER FRIDAY!!!!!
Grab your watering device...(can or hose) and your fertilizer, and head for the nearest plant... GO!
Houseplants, greenhouse crops, and gardens alike....get them moving!
Feed those plants...feed them and wake them up...make them grow and bloom and flourish!
You will be amazed at the difference a little fertilizer can make!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
I wonder if Feeding your Plants would count as Foodie Friday? Gollum? What do you think? Someone is eating...and I suppose I could post the recipe to mix it...lol

It counts as Foodie Friday. I'll do my usual fertilizing of the garden -- tell my husband to do it!!!! Actually, we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow, so I think he is planning to fertilize the lawn today before it is buried in snow. Sally

Tootsie, You are so good at inspiring fellow gardeners to take care of their plants. I actually use a different method. But, yours works wonderfully. I did that for years. I can't wait to see your plants again. You are so good!
Hugs, Terrie

Tootsie, I've think you've got something here! "Fertilizer Foodie Friday with fertilizer tea recipes!"

I use the sprinkle on type of stuff that last 6 to 12 weeks. What kind of fertilizer do you use?

I am so neglectful when it comes to fertilizing. My hubby always gets the lawn done...and I swear I'm going to do the bushes and flowers...but then I get lazy and never get around to it. I'm gonna have to for sure this year....I need somebody to hold my feet to the fire so I don't keep putting it off. How soon should I be putting the fertilizer on? Especially for my perrenials? Any tips?

I think it is a Foodie Friday post, as long as it comes with a warning that it's not for human consumption! laurie

Oh my goodness how beautiful is your backyard!!!! Love your header photo! I need your help! I've posted my yard today on my blog for Outdoor Wednesday. We are still yet to see warm temps in our area but I'm bound and determined to get ahead on some of the yard planning. We're doing a "phase three landscaping" on our side yard and I would like some constructive advice on what we've already done and what we can do. We've done all the landscaping ourselves since we found out it was going to be around 30K to do what we wanted....nothing fancy either no pools, ponds etc...! Your #1 fan Lori sent me over to you and she will give some ideas as well! I would really appreciate low maintenance since this is really not what I want to send my time on this summer. I also have a corkscrew that evergreen that is NOT doing well! I did fertilize at the end of the season but it still is continuing to lose the needles. Of course the warranty is over now! It was expensive to buy and I don't want to have to buy another! LOL! Thanks! I'll add your blog to mine! Be back for sure! Lu

I truly believe I'm seeing a difference this spring after being under the influence of Tootsie! The euphorbia is in full bloom. White hyacinths, too. However, having had an unusually harsh winter, there is much repair in store for us. We were away last weekend, so we'll start in on it tomorrow! Happy Easter, Pam
