This Saturday I did...well...what didn't I do?

First I put my fountain back together....It doesn't seem quite right...so I might have to Tweak it a little...Then....remember these??? "goals"? (scuff marks from hockey pucks)
yea......
Oh yea....
Ha Ha Ha!!!! Lucky for him I had some magic erasers kicking around the cleaning closet..lol
The girls supervised...hee hee! (perhaps I should show them how to put their outfits together...ewe!Once he finished...it looked wonderful...and I could put the bench I built to hold the flower pots back into position...
Then, I gave my garden wagon a fresh coat of fire engine red...
While I waited for that to dry...I pulled out this baby...
Put my most fashionable boots on....
...and my beds went from this....
.....to this! (all 15 of them)
Then I cleaned up that mess outside the greenhouse....and re-placed the ladder and the milk can...among other things....
....and last but not least...(because it started to rain) I repaired the rotted wood on the bench...a couple of power tools make all the difference.
It all took about 6 hours!
After that, I took a desperately needed (and well deserved hot) shower, (and then the sun came back out) ,vacuumed, made supper, did dishes, and finally wrote this post. Do I have to say I ache all over?

I love your new blog look.
Your yard is looking good!!!! Lots of work for you today! I am sure you will enjoy a nice rest!!!!
I went moss hunting and found enough for my bike baskets. I decided to plant semps in them this year. They dry out to fast and I get tired of watering them all the time. I have a back double basket for the bike too but not sure I want to put that on there this year. Not sure what else to do with it either though..lol I just think it covers to much of the bike up. I am going to paint it blue I think so maybe that will help make it stand out more.
Have a Happy Mothers Day!!!!

Wow! Can you come to my house next? Love those magic erasers. I don't know what we did without them. Your children are so cute! I love to see children dressed in outfits they selected themselves. They look like children who are learning to be independent and enjoying life while they do it. So cute the way the girls are watching the cleaning. Happy Mother's Day! laurie
