Cleaning machine!

Okay...I have decided to share some of my spring and summer cleaning endeavors with you all. Momstheword is hosting a summer cleaning frenzy...and since I am a clean a holic most of the time..I thought I'd join in!
All you have to do is pick what you will be cleaning....and list it...no obligation to photograph it...but at least let us know what you did get done!
Here is my first list...and.....it is finished!
I decided to start in the sun room. I use this room as a place to play on my computer, as well as where I do the gel nails ...when clients come to get done. It is also the only room of the house were the furniture is primarily (with the exception of one or two pieces) was made by me!
I planned to and finished cleaning....
-all windows (and then it rained and wrecked them)
-wiped down wall
-dusted all the little nic-nacs and ornaments
-edited some of the accessories and switched out some furniture
-re-arranged the furniture
-re-placed winter rugs with summer ones
-cleaned up the shoe cabinet
-watered and dusted and deleted plants ( took some out to the greenhouse for the summer)
-washed curtains
-checked light bulbs
-vacuumed!
These are after shots...you don't get to see the before or during shots!!! lol
momstheword...is almost as loony as me. she makes a million lists and she is extremely organized. She is (I think) the only other person who seems not to know how to relax as badly as me! Stop by her blog to check out a million tips on making your home sing and be all that it can be! She has a list for pretty much anything and everything that you can borrow to get you started!

Once again you have given me a great tip...I never think about checking the light bulbs while I'm cleaning. Heck, half the time they are as dusty as everything else!

I just did all but three of my windows and now it's raining like crazy!! I use Jet Dry in the solution though so they water sheets off for several rains. I can't believe how much you get done. When I make lists I'm much more productive too. The trouble is sometimes I fly by the seat of my pants and am too lazy to make a list, usually though this means I run in circles. Sigh....I need my Tootsie friend to set me straight. Okay, now I'm motivated and have to start making that list, LOL!!

OK, now you have me feeling like a slacker for sure! Looks like when I get home today, I'll have to read your post again and get busy! And, I've got the green tea and vitamin B so I think I'll double the amount I take for the next couple of days!

BTW, your garden is gorgeous, spectacular!

You are so busy.. you make me dizzy. Your room looks so inviting and relaxing. I can't believe Tootsie that you made all of those patio stones! What a great job. It looks beautiful. You wouldn't by any chance want some ornamental purslane would you? It seems to like cement.

That is a great room!! Truly! You must feel so good to have it picture perfect and blog ready! :)

I have a couple of questions for you:

My strawberry plants are lush and beautiful (yr. three for them) My berries are few and small. OK, so I haven't fertilized them like I should have! Is that the problem? Is there still hope for them this season? They are June bearers but we've had a cool spring so far.

Also, when you fertilize, do you use some sort of hose adapter? I use the Miracle Grow and mix up in a gallon bucket. It seems I'm forever going over to mix up more and the job tends to take forever. I need some Tootsie help, paleeze!!!
