Progress Feels Good.

Is it possible to be high on pollen???
If so...then that's what I am.
I just finished weeding three of the beds. Chick Weed is a major issue this year for me. I still have lots of weeding to do...but in spite of the weeds...here is my yard as of this moment.
Please ignore the weeds you see!
Just planted the Hydrangea. The Lantana was doing poorly...so it is gone.
Nice dirty Tootsie!! I put this mirror in last week. I got it from a friend and the frame was damaged...so...here's where it landed for now...My girls LOVE it outside in front of the mirror!
Fertilizer Friday is coming up fast....I hope you all are getting ready to flaunt with me!

Tootsie,
Well I am just in awe. If you could see my back yard, you'd know why. It's one big blank. I want to have a garden and flowers, but I don't have the first idea how to start, and don't know a thing about flowers. But I plan to learn. :)

Your yard is amazing. It puts mine to shame and I thought my yard looked great this year...now, I know it does not hold a candle to yours. So pretty...and enchanting.

I think it is AWFUL! That is what I said! It is awfuf that your yard looks this good, when mine looks like dodo. hehe I have just let mine grow weeds. That I am good at. I know it is hard work , but my knee just can't take it anymore. I have taken some of mine to the shop and planted to make it look nice, and a lot of customers have commented on the yard there. Ok , so I have done a little yard work, just not at home, right now.LOL Kathy

These photos should be in the magazine, Home and Garden!! It's a showcase.

My Outdoor Wednesday is flowers with a 'passion'. Come over if you can find time. I'd love your company today.

And, hope the day treats you well!!!

That was a huge box of crayons that exploded in your yard! Simply beautiful Tootsie. I could just stare at these photos for hours, umm, come to think of it, I have. Is that sage that you use as a filler? I adore the little rock with your names and the date on it. You have such a flare with knowing how to place items around your gardens. How many times do you move things until it just fits?

Ahhhhh Toots it's gorgous!!! How I would love to come and stay w/ you! From your flower beds to inside your home-i love it all!!! You are one hard working lady.

Tootsie! As usual, your house and garden are rockin' !!! If I'm lucky enough to get to heaven, I hope it looks like your house!
I have two questions for you, and it's probably been answered already - what fertilizer do you use for your container plants? I use Schultz (liquid) and it's just not doing anything. I usually use fish emulsion, but haven't found any this year. Also, is your dog a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)? Looks like my "Rudy." Take care, Stacey T.

Tootsie, you sure do have a lot of pretty color going on and I just love your concrete paths. Especially the way the grass grows between them.

Well I didnt see any weeds--lol. I'm having a problem controlling some in my little patches this year also. I just redid the front of my house with flowers and going to add new mulch this week. I'm not liking the front of my house.

I think your yard is absolutely stunning, you excel in decorating both inside and out.

Tootsie, This is amazing. My eyes don't know where to look first. I can only imagine how beautiful this must be in person. Everything looks so lush and healthy. All of the garden art is placed perfectly. Your yard really needs to be in garden magazine or featured in a HGTV gardening show. ~ Robyn

Oh Tootsie another beautiful yard this year! They must have a garden tour there and you should be on it!

Did any of the seeds I send you do okay?

Love that Idea with the mirror and your rock path looks wonderful with the grass coming up between them.

I don't think I would get a thing done if I had a yard like this- would just want to be out enjoying it all the time!

I did limp outside and do some weeding yesterday- it felt so good to be out in the yard again and getting my hands dirty!! The crutches looked a site when i was done- had to hose them down!

tootsie I am stunned, its beyond gorgeous and Gloria is right, your yard should be in a magazine!! Did you see my header picture? Thats last year, you would not recognize my yard this year, its pathetic! All around the shed is weeds and only a small pumpkin vine is beginning to grow bwaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I hope I at least get one pumpkin!! I blame it all on Amelia, I have to wait a few more years to start gardening again, and I hope my old body will let me! LOL!

OMG Tootsie, I'm in love! Not with you. Sheesh. With your yard! It is out of this world. When I grow up, I wanna be just like you. (ok, I know I'm way, way, way older, but I'm just saying............)
And, back up the truck a second here. The legs on that coffee table look suspicously (whoa, I should look up how to spell that one) like legs from an old treadle sewing machine. Am I right? Do I win something? Oh, just kidding - I won by looking at your photos.
And if this isn't already long enuf, I can't join you again for Fert. Fri. I am going on an overnight garden club trip to...ta da...Duluth, MN. There will be a million or so stops and things to do. Will bring Big Red (my camera) so I can keep y'all updated.
Carry on......

Girl, I wouldn't know a weed from a flower from the looks of my yard. What weed stands a chance in yours...there's no room!
I bet people slow down and just stare when they drive by your home.
Why don't you just send me a bunch of photos and I'll put them on sticks and put that in my yard...think I could fool anyone?
I'm impressed.
