Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers March 19/10

Copy_of_001

Fertilizer Friday is the day when gardeners from all over the world join in and share the blooms of their labors! After an incredibly busy and stressful week, it is nice to know I can relax and take a peek at some of the loveliest blogs-and the gardens they showcase....
If you are new to this party...WELCOME!!! If you are a regular...WELCOME BACK! Anyone can post plants of any kind...you are all welcome...the more the merrier!
Now...if you are not familiar with the winter rules here...you will be...since I have ZERO to share...my gardens are bare...I (and other gardeners in similar climates) are sharing our favorite photos from months, gardens, years gone by, or the current indoor gardens and houseplants that they have. Those who have real live beauty to share are doing just that!
I would like to add, that if you are not a fertilizer...you may still join in. The name Fertilizer Friday actually was coined to remind those of us who like to feed our greens, but forget! Fertilizing is not a must...but the flaunting...IS!
Please Publish the Fertilizer Friday Logo at the top of this post, and link into the mister linky list below. If you do not do this, you may not get as many "tourists" visiting your Friday post.

This week I have been working my dirty little fingers to the bone while my lovely assistant is at school!!! I have had 8 full hours in the greenhouse and I thought I would have finished by now…but sadly (haha) I have a few more hours to go. It is neat to go in there each afternoon and see the changes.

001

My Geraniums are getting their leaf colors.

004

The Rudbeckia is all fuzzy and green.005

The Loofa are taking over the joint…007

Dianthus is getting bigger by the day.008

The petunias are getting more petunia-ish…is that a word? haha009

Dahlias are getting tall!!!010

I planted the Marigolds on Monday…and here is a sign of success! Can you see the little plant?012

I am such a bad mom…I am standing on the table taking photos…my assistant just threatened to spank my bum!

013

Things are sprouting…and the place is filling up!015

As of the end of next week I vow to myself to be done the seeding part of the greenhouse process!!! After that…transplanting and thinning out…yep…that’s the plan!

Please Publish the Fertilizer Friday Logo at the top of this post, and link into the mister linky list below.

Thank you to everyone for linking in and leaving such sweet comments...please do take a minute if you can and visit all the other wonderful gardens in the linky below...have a fantastic weekend friends! See ya Monday for sure!

Hi Tootsie. Your greenhouse looks awesome. What fun to play in there. I sure can't wait for planting season. Everything is so drab right now. I can't wait to learn a lot from you this season.

I have an admission....I am soooo jealous. Everything looks fabulous! Those baby geraniums are so darn cute!

P.S. You've already seen my post - I just tweaked it a little.

Whoa, I see a big change since last week! I don't know how you do all of this every single year. It's SO much work. But now I can't wait to see the dahlias bloom! How many months do you think it will take?

Sunny and beautiful here in BC. My lawn guy came today and mowed. The weeds are filling up the garden beds and I have to try to get out there this weekend.
That is the trouble with this warmer climate. The weeds grow all year long.
I love seeing the little seedlings growing there. Such progress.

You are going to have sooo many plants to enjoy. They all look very healthy and strong. have a great Friday and thanks for hosting FF. It's fun to see other people's gardens especially when there is so little to look at in my own yard.

I'm pleased to finally have some bloom outside, although we are expecting snow on Saturday... Your greenhouse looks great... I may start night time heat after this upcoming four day cold spell. Right now I have 250 delphiniums planted out there, but not germinated. I also have about 500 or so seedlings of my daylily crosses in the greenhouse... does anyone know what they can stand for low temps? My rhodochiton are under lights and have not germinated either... need to start petunias soon... have a marvelous weekend... this spring fever is a great condition to have! Larry

Tootsie
You are amazing to tackle such a project
I love Geraniums and petunias and they are alway a "staple" in my pots every year. Never thought about starting them from seed. Hubby would love all the money I would save : )
Have a great weekend

Good morning Toots. Mine is up.

Your place is looking awesome. So many things are up and looking so full.

Looking at all you have there is making me cringe when I think about the pain from getting down on the ground or of squatting down and killing my back and knees. Ya know I'd rather take that shovel and dig the grass and even pick it up than to actually set the plant in the ground.

I love seeing the inside of your greenhouse! You must really have so much fun working out there with so much space to start so many seeds.
I started Dianthus for the first time this year and hoping I get lots of flowers from them.

I put your logo on my sidebar. Everyday, everyone can see your lovely, lovely logo. Thinks are looking great for you and your greenhouse. Cheers!

It's always so full and busy in your greenhouse but it all looks great. Your Geraniums are sure looking good. I don't think the 2 different looking ones I kept in my greenhouse made it. But then I don't have heat in it. Whatever makes it - makes it. If not . . . I cry. Not really!
Hey your Rose Mallows were the first seeds to sprout in my winter sowing jugs. HOORAY!!!!!

Lona said...

Well I am really messed up this morning. I posted my FF on last weeks linky. Duh! Having a Duh day. Don't laugh it comes with age. See what you have to look forward to. LOL!

Oh they are starting to look petunia-ish ;-) You reminded me that I have to sow my Dahlia seeds yet. No more room. Happy Spring Tootsie!
