My friend, it's so sweet to have you for Sunday Favorites this week and this was a great post to reshare! I didn't know that there were birthday flowers like this...what fun! Wow, mine couldn't have been sweeter...Gladiolas for August! Whenever I see Glads, I think of my dear, sweet Grandma! Girlfriend, she grew the most fabulous Glads that I've ever seen! Ohhh...and the colors of those Glads were just spectacular!!! Also...my youngest daughter was born in April and daisies have always been her favorite flower! I always get so tickled with her because she always tells her husband that she would much rather have him bring her a few hand picked daisies than a box of roses! Hehe! I can't wait to tell her that daisies are actually her birthday flower...she'll get a kick out of that!

I have not seen the birthday flower list in a long time! Thanks for sharing! Thank goodness my flower is not Pointsetta! I saw enough of those growing up with Christmas birthday cakes! Ugh!
Yes, I remember a birthday flower list from some time ago and the morning glory was the flower for September on that list. Only the morning glory stuck in my memory, probably due to the fact that September is my birth month.
What a fun post - - - I'm December, Narcissi are nice. (Don't know if that is the plural or not - - - but I LIKE it that way. Hehehehehehe)
BUT - - - I find myself WISHING my month's flowers were lilies of the valley. I just LOVE those. One house we moved into had them nestled all around the north foundation of the house - - - and before I could TELL my husband how PRECIOUS they were, he had mowed them all down. Very sad day.
Now that was a fun posting. I have heard of birthstones but not flowers. Hey Tootsie, I always knew I was a sweetpea. LOL!
I am a January baby so I guess that is why I love the carnation so much!!! Thanks for the fun post...

That was pretty neat Toots I did not know which flower was mine, now I do. I love chrysanthemums too. They are a pretty hardy flower.

I have seen this before, lots of lovely traditional flowers in there. I need to turn it upside down in the southern hemisphere with our opposite seasons. Hahaha.
