Power Tools, Windows and Gardens…yes they do mix!

So I had a little spare time on Friday afternoon…What to do?  What to do!

What did I do????

Look!

023

I started out fixing up the ugly down spout situation… yea it is bad isn’t it?

024

While I was deciding what to do that would rectify the situation…I got an idea?  Can you guess what it is?  (hint…look in the lower part of the left of the photo)  Still can’t guess????

 026

Ta-DA!!!  I added an old window to the fence!  I have one on the other side looking out of my garden room into the side yard…so why not have one looking into the header bed in front of the greenhouse?

025

I like it!  I need to paint it so that it is not so obviously there…but other than that…I am happy.  It not only completed the area…but I did get to use my jig saw and the skill saw too!  hahaha.078

And that is what I did for an hour on Friday afternoon!  Wait till you see what else I have been up to…I have to finish the projects up a bit…so you will just have to wait!  haha!

Hugs and smiles to you all…wishes for a great week…and to the “3”…*) *) *)

I have one of the old windows that came out of the family farm house, I need to get busy and do something with it.
You always make things look so awesome!

Tootsie, you are a Jack-of-all-trades! Is there anything you can't do? You give me inspiration that women can do just about anything.

Oh, Tootsie, now you've given me another project to do! We have so many old windows around here and now they have a use. I admire you, I walk around the yard trying to figure out what is the most important thing to do, get overwhelmed and go back in the house. (Hey, it's been really hot, that's my excuse--I'll get at it when the weather cools down!)

But when you see a project that needs doing, you get right to it! Thank you for inspiring me!

Looks great Tootsie! Do you have those rain chains there? To use instead of the pipes - do you know what I'm talking about? Everything looks so green at your place too! Nice work, eh!

Oh, that came out looking great. Gotta love power tools! I've not tried my hand at a power saw... hmmmm... I could make a window view from the bedroom into the laundry room, but I'm thinking I don't want to see that view every time I go to bed. It will just remind me of the things I was supposed to do that day. ;-)

I really like what you did with the old window. Great idea, Tootsie.

Hope you are having a wonderful day,
Susan

I luv it. We have several interior windows looking down from our upstairs. Windows are a great focal point and add a lot inside as well as outside.
