Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers August 3/12

Copy_of_001

HAPPY FRIDAY AGAIN!!!! I am SO glad to see you!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!! Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.
The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing! You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly! All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted.
So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

My kids are finally home with me…after a full month of being away, I am trying to get back in the swing of things with them…man…if you are not used to it…they sure can wear you out! 8)

My flaunt today is short and sweet. I have an ulcer on one of my eyes that is almost healed up, therefore it is difficult for me to type and see what I am doing! Ya…it’s all such fun…ha ha…by next week I should be back to normal and snapping all sorts of photos for you.

Today I will share my front yard.

The colors in this bed just POP! I am happy with the way this one looks. VERY FULL!

DSCN4424

At certain times of the day, or when the clouds roll in…the front yard sort of seems to glow with all the different blooms. You would never know from just looking that this whole front yard has a billion ants in it! I am almost wondering if the ants are helping things along! I did try a few times to banish them…but they seem to have dug their teensy little heels in and are not budging…so …we shall co-exist.

The Hydrangeas are finally coming into bloom in the front yard…I can’t wait to share them with you.

My window box on the front step is just full of Geranium blooms….I love how vibrant they are--- in the evening especially…

Salmon Geraniums..

I think my favorite is the orange ones this year. They are so bright!!!

Okay kids…that is all for me for this week…now it is your turn.,,,

What are you waiting for??? Get flaunting!

I wish all of you hugs and smiles, and safe and happy weekend plans! Thank you all so much for dropping in today, and to those that faithfully link in to this party…and who are patient while waiting for me to finally visit you…THANK YOU!

Until Next Time….Happy Gardening!

Hi Tootsie, It's amazing what you have accomplished in just a few short months, both in terms of your house AND your gardens! The front bed is really beautiful. I love how full and colorful it is, and I love the shape as well. I think you could have a career as a garden/landscape designer. You really do have a talent, and it's obvious what a hard worker you are. It's a pleasure to visit you today and I wish you well.
Hugs and blessings, Beth
