Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers March 1/13

PSSSST!

Hey YOU!

Ya YOU!

Do you know what day it is???

It’s Friday !!!!
Wow this week sure flew by!

Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”

Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing! You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or abut if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly! link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted. So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

If you follow me closely, you will know that I attended the NWFGS last week.  Today I am going to keep the suspense up of what is going on in my greenhouse this week, and share some more of the photos I took at the show!

This is one of the show gardens set up for us all to drool over in Seattle.  It is a two part garden…One side is HERS and one side is HIS.  As you can see…I am a tad more enchanted with the HERS side…:)

108

There are so many feminine little details in this garden.  I am loving it all…

114

Loving this yellow Peony!

110

I wonder if Grampie would notice his broadcaster missing ...he has one just like this…but he still uses it on occasion…

112

No detail was spared in this garden…I love how they thought of everything!

118

This garden is definitely up my alley!

116
I would LOVE a picket fence around ANY part of my garden…hmmm….maybe I should plan something…

120

This is HIS garden.   Very calm…very simple in color scheme…It is gorgeous…but not as cheery or fun as HERS.
I wish the other photos of this part of the garden had turned out better…but sadly all I have to share of HIS garden are these two shots.

121

Yep…I will take a colorful bright and cheery garden filled with whimsy any day over a monotone garden…I am not a girl who would ever say any garden is ugly…there is NO such thing! But there are certain things I think a garden should be…and colorful is one of them!

What do you think?

I think that I need to let you guys have a turn…and in that case… that is all for me this week!

Well…what are you waiting for???

GO!!!

Get your flaunt on!!!

I wish all of you hugs and smiles, and safe and happy weekend plans!

Thank you all so much for dropping in today, and to those that faithfully link in to this party…and who are patient while waiting for me to FINALLY visit you…it seems there are not enough hours in a day anymore...THANK YOU!

Until Next Time... Happy Gardening!

Colour is great. I certainly love to see a garden filled with colour. I'm not all that keen on lots and lots of green however. Give me fabulous reds, beautiful purples and bright yellows any day! White is also a particular favourite of mine.

All the fabulous wonderful flowers...I could have gotten lost just looking at all the beauty.. I have always wanted an all white flower garden.. it just appeals to me.. but I do love all the diffferent colors.. I am beginning to love roses...did you see any great roses? What a great trip.. Blessings!

I like her garden better. Very bright and colorful. I like the flamingos. I saw on Pinterest where someone covered a flamingo with rhinestones.....it was awesome :-)

Thanks Tootsie for letting us see a part of that garden show too. I love those whites too in HIS garden. But i also love the white picket fences, if only our termites will leave them alone i have them already a long time ago. Treating them here is very expensive, so it's not worth treating. Happy weekend

You got some lovely shots at the Northwest Flower And Garden Show. So great you were able to get down to see it. We drove up from Oregon and spend the weekend in Seattle. I have nary a decent photo to show for it that wasn't blurry. Darn. So, here are my Hellebores that are putting on a real show right now.

Love the broadcaster. Your flower show is amazing. Pretty sure the MN one is half as cool. My sister is going this weekend, so she'll take pics & fill me in. I hope to join your linky party in the future. Still pretty cold here!

Your pictures from the flower show are a feast for my weary winter eyes...pink fence? hmmm!

Photographs of others are how I visit the Flower Shows. Thanks for sharing yours. It's interesting to look at the albums of different bloggers, comparing them to each other and the official Show Photos. Not everybody 'sees' things from the same perspective.
