Fertilizer Friday / Flaunt Your Flowers June 21/13

Copy_of_001
WELCOME!

Do you know what day it is???

It’s Friday !!!!

Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol)  It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.

The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted.

So?????....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
WHERE did the week go?  It feels like I just posted a party link up yesterday and here I am again!
I don’t know about you guys, but I have been BUSY.  There are not enough hours in each day for this girl anymore…and this past week has been even more hectic for us!
The sun has been on strike here…and not making much for appearances this week…it has been rainy and down right cold outside all week long.  I mowed grass in winter clothes the other day!   I don’t mind a little rain, but this heavy duty crappy weather…rain, cold and wind can go elsewhere!
In spite of it all…things seem to be growing slowly but surely…take a look:
019
In and amongst the massive amounts of chick weed that I have growing in my gardens right now…I have a few pretty things blooming!   IRIS!!!   Oh I love the flowers of the Iris plant!  I wish they would re-bloom again and again all summer long.
057
My pots are doing great!   This is a wave petunia and alyssum combo!  Looks fantastic and smells great!
060
The pansy’s in my flower beds are happy as can be!   I love seeing them all in bloom!
061
I am so leased to see that the lime color petunias that I planted finally coming to life!   I had all but written them off as gonners!
030
Do you see anything you think that I might be excited to post about soon????   Look closely and you just might see it!

This brings us to the end of my flaunt for this week…and YOU know what that means!!!

That means…I can’t wait to see what you have!
Well…what are you waiting for???

GO!!!

Get your flaunt on!!!

I wish all of you hugs and smiles, and safe and happy weekend plans!

Thank you all so much for dropping in today, and to those that faithfully link in to this party…and who are patient while waiting for me to FINALLY visit you…it seems there are not enough hours in a day anymore...THANK YOU!  I feel just terrible that I haven’t had time to get around to everyone lately…I miss seeing your shares!

Until Next Time... Happy Gardening!

Your Irises are simply fabulous. I love that crimson red Petunia with the purple/white Alyssum too. The bed of Pansies is gorgeous, and I can see a row of brackets on your new fence ready for lots more hanging pots and baskets.

Love the little sitting area outside our greenhouse too. That looks like a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy a cuppa. The garden beds in your back yard are brimming with colour at the moment.

Glenda, I love the Iris, they
come back every year and multiply.
That's one thing in the garden
that saves me some work.

I miss your comments.

Amazing how far along you've brought your gardens since you moved in. The two-tone iris is a pretty colour combination and I like the pink wave petunia in the pot.

Your flowers are doing rather well considering the cold weather! Our weather here is a tad moderate lately, but I expect it to warm up soon. Your petunias look really great and so do your pansy's! Love the color of your iris!

Note to self: Get some colored Alyssum seeds; much better with petunias than the white that I planted thinking it was Iberis.
