Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers Feb. 7/14

Welcome!

I cannot believe it is already Friday again!

 Where did the week go?
Copy_of_001
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me really…there is no one else here…lol)  It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”

Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.

The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted

I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

Yep…I’m LATE.

Late to my own party…but at least I showed up!

I have not had one moment to even look at Tootsie Time, much less post anything new…and for that I am sad.   There are a lot of exciting things happening in my world right now, and these things are taking up most of my energy and time!

I started a business recently.   I didn’t intend for it to be a business…it was supposed to be a hobby…just a temporary little thing…but it seems to have taken a life of it’s own, and I had to go get a business started because I have had so many people interested!   This is why I have been so complacent about posting, commenting and visiting.   I just don’t have a lot of time!

Soon I will have things all ironed out, and the start up effort won’t be quite so huge…(I hope).   It will be then that I can get myself organized to have time for the greenhouse, the business, the kids and of course you guys!   Be patient with me…I am a single mom, (with three busy busy kids…and Grammie and Grampie won’t admit it, but they are a handful too!  hee hee), I have my job, and my business on top of the greenhouse and all the pets and household things that I do.   There are days that I wish there were two of me!

REGARDLESS of the reasons I am absent, please know that I appreciate each and every one of you who links in, comments and/or just pops in for a peek at what’s going on this week.   I will eventually get time, and the 100 year old house series will resume…as well as get back into sharing my greenhouse updates…but for the time being, the flaunting…well…it’s up to you guys…again.

So…get ready…it’s time to GET YOUR FLAUNT ON!

Until Next Time....Happy Gardening!

*)*)*)...U may not like me due to my honesty. But I'd rather have a backbone than a wishbone any day of the week!!

Congrats on the new business! How fun that a hobby is your job! Not much going on in South Texas. It's been cold (for this area) and everything is brown and sad. February is the worst month for a gardener I think. I look forward to hearing about the new business and the old house! Hugs

Hi Glenda,

Congratulations on your new business. Thanks for having this blog party even though you are busy. Sorry i used the same post this week. Things are so different, with several inches of snow right now. Hopefully it will melt by Monday.

I take it your new business is plant related? Congratulations. Good work pays off. The best flowers here right now are indoors.

Glenda,

I actually got a post written in the airport on how I spoke too soon. We now have messy snow and freezing rain. Thank goodness, I got out of town before the worst of it.
