Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers March 14/14

Welcome!
Copy_of_001
I am so glad you stopped by today.   I love Friday’s…it is the start of the weekend…and…Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me really…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”

Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.

The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted

I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

Spring is finally starting to show up in this area!!!   There are puddles everywhere and the snow is getting lower and lower every day!   Warm temps and lots of sunshine are inspiring this gardener to get ready to play outside!

Another busy week here in my house…greenhouse planting, work etc have made the days just zoom by!

Take a peek at what I have going on in the greenhouse now:

It is getting more and more full and greener and greener every day!

 Geraniums are happily growing…

Petunias are getting their groove on…

Bacopa is getting ready to dance across the pots!

Things are growing along quite nicely in my greenhouse this week.   When I went in today to water, and try to get some pics, the smell in there was fantastic!   I just love the smell of a working greenhouse…don’t you?

My photos, are a little lacking in quality, the sunshine makes it hard to get great shots!  Oh well…maybe next week!

it’s your turn now…So GO….FLAUNT!

You know you wanna!

Until Next Time....Happy Gardening!

You guys have NO idea how much I appreciate you all…Thank you to the party linkers…and to those who just read.

*)*)*)...May the blessings you receive today, be the blessings you need the most.

Tootsie, you remind me each week that if I am going to start anything from seed this year I better get my butt in gear. Thanks for hosting.

Hey Tootsie, the seedlings are looking good! I have not planted any seeds this winter, guess I'll be buying my annuals this Spring/summer.
Some of the daffodils have broken ground and the foliage is about 3 in. tall..Kind of in a wait and see pattern since I redesigned my two front flowerbeds thia past fall. Kind of thinned them out and made it more orderly looking I hope.

Do you still have the old piano in the front/side yard? Check out Missy Bowne's blogspot called www.thevictoriancottage.blogspot.
com..She mus tlive in Indianapolis, Indiana area because she attended their Flower&Garden show and somebody had designed a fountain/water fall using an old piano that they are also using it as a planter for geraniums. I immediately thought of you and your old piano when I saw the pictures. Somebody else created a mock up of a drum set using tree slices that they had cut from a tree. Neat! You'd like it..check it out. Cowboy's cabin looks like a fun place..perfect for a vacation house. Will he live in it permanently when it's completed redone? How are your kids and parents? Hope all is well and staying healthy.

Tootie, that's a lot of flowers but I know you'll need all of them and share with your friends and Mom. Do you do all your watering from the bottom? Or have automatic sprinklers inside the greenhouse? Hope all is going well with you otherwise..
