Oh it does my heart good to see something green and blooming. I don't have a greenhouse so there's nothing pretty happening here...except for all the berries on my nandinas. Counting the days till spring!

I can't believe that you started your banana plant just last summer. Quite prolific I would say.

I plan to join in on Fertilizer Friday in the new year. I didn't realize that it could to be things from the summer. Cuz I have nothing growing now.

I would like to know how you treated the greenhouse to get rid of the bugs? I may have access to a greenhouse which a local nursery is not using due to bug infestation. Any tips?

I have missed the past two FF...I have stuff bloom...

What a gift you have to be able to grow all these beautiful plants. I had 3 asparagus ferns, I've had for 30 years.. have taken them in and out for quite some time using a 2 wheeler. Decided this year they were going to have to stay out.. can't handle it any longer..by this time they are usually dead if left outside.. we've had a lot of mornings at zero... no girl they are growing like crazy ...go figure...

Your banana tree looks awesome! Your green thumb also has the ability to heal spider mite disease too! Your plants are so healthy looking...I wish I had a greenhouse, I could really use one now! You have a banana plant growing in those temperatures. Those plants are something I would not even bother trying with in this area, let alone where you live where in the cold.You amaze me.

Congratulations on your banana plant. It looks very healthy and full of life. I hope that it will bloom soon. Banana plants are regarded as symbols of fertility and abundance among my Indian friends and no major festival is complete without having 2 banana tree stumps flanking main doorways. Have a blessed Christmas and may good fortune rain on you always.

Well I must say I am IMPRESSED!! a banana tree from seed! WOW! It is gorgeous too.
Glad you were able to nip the little buggers in the bud (so to speak)before they destroyed anything.
