I always enjoy seeing your flower photos. Soon you'll have a great deal of beauty in your yard again. We had 85 degrees two days ago, and today we're getting snow and a 50 degree swing in temps. Crazy! I'm ready for warm weather and sunshine with the "right amount" of rain mixed in. It is a hose siphon that hooks directly to the faucet and then you conncet your hose. You then put a rubber tube siphon into a bucket of fertilizer solution and Voila! it fertilizes when you water. I fertilize with a very weak strength liquid feed for my nursery plants to keep them actively growing. I use a lot of Kelp and fish emulsion for the organic crops.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06571667582706143557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476624473421483512.post-58030180045282721562013-04-28T21:10:24.324-06:002013-04-28T21:10:24.324-06:00So informative. Google -- different products in your country than mine. One suggested dissolving in alfalfa tea before spraying. You can get alfalfa meal and sprinkle over the soil, too.

My mother swore by fish emulsion for her ferns. The smell is quick to go away. The analysis on my bottle says 5-1-1.

It is extremely time-consuming but I mix up liquid fertilizer in gallon jugs and then pour into watering cans to fertilize directly to each plant. Excess fertilizer causes build-up of elements -- where does your run-off go?

I hope you get lots of specific organic suggestions. It looks so far as if others are depending on you for answers.Jean Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09000315400392984647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476624473421483512.post-57206488461538799372013-04-28T13:38:04.400-06:002013-04-28T13:38:04.400-06:00Great Post!
