I did them exactly as you told me... :) <br />OH to have a yard like that. We have planted seven tree's in the back yard. I love lots of bright color, textures, props (like the wagon wheels in the yard), flowers surrounding everything, pathways, and everything tucked closely in together. That is exactly what I like to do!! Nice to meet you and I will check you out on Fridays.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02543591269872142920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476624473421483512.post-4105209776587603092011-03-09T15:45:33.853-07:002011-03-09T15:45:33.853-07:00Those are great hints! Having an inground swimming pool we naturally have a lot of 'task' lighting however I'm disappointed in the Solar lighting which I had hoped to use in the Garden areas. (I chose Solar Spot Lights, but they just don't do a good job.) -Brenda-mrsbenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13490065292054880863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476624473421483512.post-14978602242730309412008-07-04T12:07:00.000-06:002008-07-04T12:07:00.000-06:00Another excellent article for a Non-Gardner like m...Another excellent article for a Non-Gardner like myself. Thanks Tootsie! Before I logged on I went out and gave my new shrubs 'n flowers a feeding. The ones in the b/yard are doing fantastic and I am seeing more signs of color. (Posted a few on my RMS B/Yard PATIO space. Hopefully the front won't be far behind in maturing.) So far its been pretty easy maintenance and I'm glad I took my cue from Commercial Landscaping as annuals can always be added as fillers for more color. Wishing you a super weekend my friend. -Brenda-mrsbenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13490065292054880863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476624473421483512.post-2852812507612482402008-07-04T10:57:00.000-06:002008-07-04T10:57:00.000-06:00Girl how I wished I would have thought of all thes...Girl how I wished I would have thought of all these wonderful things 11 years ago when we were starting to do the landscape around here.. Bill was in the fields all the time.. and I was flying literally by the seat of my breeches trying to dig all these holes and get the selected plants in the ground..that being said.. now some of them have had to come out.. didn't plant them where they could truly grow and shine like they are meant to.. some of the bushes need more room.. some just didn't like the ground they were in.. and so on.... I'm sure this post is going to help so many others out there that are just starting their landscape projects... where were you 11 years ago when I needed you sugar...??
