The New Motto For 2009!!!!!

The New Motto for 2009!!
Someone will always be prettier.
Someone will always be smarter.
Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go, and love you and your circumstances
Think about it!
The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
The most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.
The richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes~ might be lonely.
And the word says, 'If I have not Love, I am nothing.'
So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say, 'I am too Blessed to be Stressed and too Anointed, to be Disappointed!'
'Winners make things happen~~ Losers let things happen.'

That's so great!!! AND....so true!!!

You have to look no further than all the celebrities with their messed up families, eating disorders, drug and alcohol addictions. Proof that money, looks, and/or popularity don't insulate you from life!

Great sentiments for sure, but easier said than done!

I've been wearing big girl panties for way to many years! lol
I absolutely agree! Is it a Sheryl Crow song that says, "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got." I could be wrong on the exact words but you get the point. :)

Great words of wisdom. We all need to give thanks for what we have and remember to love ourselves as well as others. Thanks, Hugs, Marty

Love the motto. Really, really love your flowers. I'm glad you are my first follower. I hope this doesn't post twice. I lost my preview. I'm still learning how to blog.

Life is what you make it. My ex was a grump and he wasn't worth dragging me or Jacob down. A big beautiful house, being a stay at home mom, wasn't worth the fact that he was unpredictable and sometimes mean (not physically - just scary (actually bi-polar and not willing to accept it). He worked nights -slept during the day - Jacob hated to watch Rosie O'Donnell 'cuz that meant Dad would wake up soon....how sad was that? That's when I decided to end it and get away. A weight lifted from my shoulders and I never looked back! ~ Robyn
