Hello Bloggers/ Gardeners/ Friends!!!! It’s Friday again already and that means it’s time to flaunt our flowers, gardens and all things green!
Now if you are not familiar with the rules of this little party…here they are;
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!
You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!
Your post must include the logo above and a link to Tootise Time, or the linky will be deleted. I don’t mean to be harsh, but there have been a lot of people linking in and when the participants graciously click over to their blogs, there is no sign of Fertilizer Friday anywhere to be found. This is not fair to those who do follow the rules, therefore…well you know!
So? what are you waiting for? Get outside, feed, water, snap and post!
So…this week I did a little weeding…and lot of painting, among other things that I am obligated to keep up with. I took a couple days off from the garden to do some inside stuff. Of course today, when I wanted to be outside preparing for the big post of the week, it decided to pour rain ALL DAY. So…When I went out to take the photos for this post I was surprised! (I was also lucky…it wasn’t 5 minutes after I came back inside to post…that a huge storm broke out…wind rain and just awful!)
It’s all a little waterlogged…but it is blooming!! Snap dragons are up…sweet peas are up…it’s all so full!!! (so full that you can’t hardly see the weeds! ha-ha)
The bike bed looks soooo pretty and full! *)
I was shocked to see how huge this little hanging pot was on the gate!!! Ka-BOOM! it just exploded this week.
The Hosta is blooming!
I built a new bed! seriously??? how can you be surprised….it’s me we’re talkin about here…haha
It is at the back end of the greenhouse…all filled with perennials…and…
yep! I re-made an old trellis to become an awning arch type thing over the window. I hope that virginia creeper gets up there quick, because it’s not the prettiest…but it will be hidden soon, so pretty wasn’t all that important to me.
Remember when I said the Hydrangeas are blooming? Well…take a look at this!!! This is HUGE!
This is just one bloom!!! There are three this size in total…what? you don’t believe me that it is huge???
there! Happy now??? “Busy” is 5 years old…and the bloom is the same size as her head! (she says hi Grammie…and Grampie…and Gloria!…and all her fans! ha-ha)
My Beta Grape is bigger this year than any other year…and the ‘bestest’ part…
it is loaded with teensy little clusters of grapes! They are bitter and not good for eating…so I leave them for the birds… (judging by the quantity of bird droppings I wash off the sidewalk every morning) they are very happy to hang out here. Ha ha!
So for this week that is all I have to share…BUT….I have a garden of a follower to share with you all before I sign off…
Her “handle” is Karen and here’s what she has to say:
“I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!! you make me smile thank you so much for the beauty you create on the inside and out.... I don't have a blog at this time but I hope to this fall....so I'm including a picture of one of my 14 gardens they are small but I hope to enlarge and add...soon but keep on making me smile and teaching we sure do appreciate you.....take care God Bless Karen “
Is this not just dreamy? I love it…the lilies are so pretty!
Thank you Karen…Your flowers are fantastic! I love the chair too!! I can't wait till she starts that blog she mentioned!!! I will be a first follower for sure!
so..there you have it folks…my garden…and Karen’s flaunt! Now it’s your turn! Lets get flaunting!!! I can hardly wait to see ! (and since I made it around last week…there is a chance I might this week too!!! ha-ha)
A big thanks to all who regularly flaunt, visit and comment. I appreciate each and every one of you. The inspiration and fellowship is beyond what words can say.
With that….I wish you a very safe and happy weekend…and to my three biggest fans…winks!!! (you know who you are!) *) *) *)
Happy flaunting all!!!

Your gardens continually look more gorgeous every time I stop by and check out your photos.
Wow, the petunias hanging on your gate are amazing. I love how full they've gotten. It looks like it should be so heavy it could bring the gate down. ;-)
I hope your arch fills out for you just like you are hoping it will. I can't wait to see photos as it grows.
The hydrangea are so beautiful. I can never get mine to have globe shaped heads. They always come out a little elongated and pointy at the top. I wonder what in the world I'm doing wrong. I love the photo of "Busy". She's so danged adorable! Oh my gosh, what a cutie pie.
I have a question for you, do the grapes get tangled in everything? Is it a constant challenge to keep them trimmed back? Oh, that was two questions. Oops. lol
Hi Karen! I hope you will start blogging in the fall. Your photos of your lilies are very beautiful and I would love to drop by and become a follower if you do start one up. Let us all know!
Happy Gardening everybody.
Thank you once again, Tootsie, for hosting another gorgeous Friday of Flaunt Your Flowers.

Thanks for a fun Friday :)
It looks so manicured and colourful.
This is a first for me as I have never linked up to any "party" before ,just getting to grips with the computer!
Looking forward to more,thanks!
Back to work for me on Monday...I can't believe Summer vacation is over!
Your neighbors MUST be just delighted with you.
One thing I have noticed. When one person in a neighborhood keeps their yard up, it is an incentive for others to do the same. And...Tootsie, it is working! Slowly, but it is working! Our neighbors are at least beginning to water their lawn...and it is beginning to turn green! Watching a dead lawn suffer is....almost like watching a person wither away ...you know?
Of course you do!
Hugs!
