HAPPY FRIDAY AGAIN!!!! I am SO glad to see you!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!! Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing! You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly! All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted.
So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
This week has been insanely busy…road trips for passports…yard work, kids, sick kids…and getting ready to be away from home for a few days this weekend have almost sucked the life right out of me! I haven’t even answered all of my emails, not to mention the visits I owe you all. Before I begin the party this week I just feel like once again I need to first and foremost absolutely apologize for not being able to find one spare minute to get around to all that took the time to visit and link in the last two weeks or so. I just feel terrible about neglecting you all!
Today I am flaunting some container gardens. They seem to be thriving in their places in spite of wind, heavy rains and even hail this week. Yep…this area has been just a myriad of crazy weather again this week!
This Gerber Daisy is a little scarred…but still gorgeous in spite of it.
I love the color combination of the coral and the blue lobelia and bacopa.
Marigold and Alyssum and a happy combination.
It is not on purpose that all the marigolds are the same color combo…just happened that way.
This one is going to be gorgeous. They sure do smell good!!! Alyssum has one pretty scent!
Potted Pansy’s are very cheerful on the table top!
Geranium and Lobelia will be a sight to see when in bloom…this window box is bursting with happy plants!
I am not sure I like the look of Thymophilla plants…(did I spell that right??? ha ha)
…I do, however, love the look of the dainty yellow blooms it gives.
The window box hanging on the front step railing…is filling in and POPPING with color!
One last share…not in a container…but just lovely…Bleeding Hearts…just gorgeous and so dainty.
Don’t you just love how intricate and completely unique some of our flowers and plants can be??? Just look at all the details of each bloom and you will be amazed at each and every one!
That is all the flaunting I have today!!! I hope the weather next week is nice enough to get more done in my gardens…it is far too wet to do anything this week…and there seems to be a never ending list of things that need to be done! Not to mention all the catch up I need to play with you all!!!
I wish all of my followers hugs and smiles, and safe and happy weekend plans! Thanks for dropping in and to those that faithfully link in to this party…and who are patient while waiting for me to finally visit you…THANK YOU!
Until Next Time….Happy Gardening!
*)*)*) to my three special winks…sometimes you need to step away from someone to see who they really are, and when you look back you realise you made a step in the right direction. HUGS!

LOVE the blue flowers and the bleeding hearts! Have a great weekend! Hugs Carol
Oooh, Tootsie! Such pretties!
Did you grow the Gerbera daisy from seed? There were some really fat seeds following a bloom in my garden a few weeks ago. I put them in a flat and tiny seedlings are coming up. I'm excited to know I may be able to grow them from seed. If these survive, I'll buy hybrid seed
I absolutely adore your containers...great combinations. So nice to see the bleeding heart....mine did not bloom this year due to the warm March and then freezing April...so I actually planted more in hopes that I will some next year.
Love your container garden pictures. I especially was happy to see bleeding hearts. My Mom always had them in her garden and although I think I've bought the right plants they are never the same. Yours are. What a visual treat. Thank you for hosting, very glad I could join in.
Now, the fruits of your labor are starting to show up, and they are very beautiful. Instant success!
Window boxes are so seldom seem any more but you have created some gorgeous ones.
The gerbera with the blue lobelia does look striking together.

You have a feast of colour and texture and shape. I'm afrid there's not a lot blooming in my garden at the moment.

You have an amazing container garden!
Hi Glenda,
Your containers filled with blossoms look amazing! I'm glad to see people still plant marigolds and your window boxes are striking. Thank you for hosting our lovely party.
Is your bacopa blue as well? We only seem to have white around here but it does come in 2 flower sizes.
It's amazing that your bleeding heart is still blooming! Mine died off weeks ago. And I love the close-up shots of your plants. Yes you're right; the plants are so beautifully unique.
thank you for inviting me to participate and flaunt my flowers! your coral and blue combos are so intense...really exciting to look at. i'm going to go blog hopping now and see what everyone else is flaunting. happy friday!
Hi Glenda: Your containers look just gorgeous! We have been busy with garden projects, and I created a new little flower bed area that I needed to fill. I had some annuals that I had started this spring left over from filling the containers, and I thought "What the heck" and put them in the new little bed! I haven't done a lot of annuals in ground in a garden bed for a long time, so it should be pretty, and it will give me a little time to save up for a few perennials that I would like to add there in the future. Thank you for hosting this fun garden party--I appreciate it!
Your containers are so beautiful! I especially like the orange combinations.
What fabulous container gardens. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for hosting, glad I could join in, yard work this week.
