WELCOME FRIEND!
Do you know what day it is???
It’s Friday !!!!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!
Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.
The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!
You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!
All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted
So?????....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my Canadian Friends! I wish you all a great weekend, with lots of good food, friends and family!
Somehow Thanksgiving snuck right up on me, and if not for my mom (Grammie) I wouldn’t have even realized it! I have been CRAZY BUSY this week with anything and everything! There has been wall painting, door painting, housework, traveling to do errands, and yard work going on in my world! How was your week?
Since last week the view from my windows has changed dramatically. FALL has definitely arrived in Tootsie’s Gardens! Take a look:
The frost finished off my back yard gardens completely this week. I decided to get busy and take out the annuals. I also drained my fountain so that the frigid temps of the Alberta winter wouldn’t ruin the pump.
It sure does look depressed now…
Bland…Just not very Tootsie At all!
I still need to do some odd’s n ends in the back yard…clean and put the pots away and get some of the ick cleaned up. I also want to put protection over a few things before the winter comes…But for now…this is the scene in the back yard.
Last week, my hedge was still green and there was not much for damage to the front yard…but this week…the leaves have started to turn…don’t you just love the pretty colors??? They just look so warm…too bad they mean winter’s coming!
There are a few things missing from the front yard…I got busy and rid the garden of anything that was finished or frost killed…I am sure next week will bring another truck load of flowers out of the garden…
For now, I will hang onto what I have left as long as I can!
Well….that’s it for me for today…I don’t want to make my post too terribly long…You guys need a chance to share too!!!
What’s happening in your Garden?
What are you waiting for???
GO!!!
Get your flaunt on!!!
You can link as many posts as you like…I don’t mind seeing lots!!!

I was another one of your followers that was touched by the pictures and comments about the old house.
I am so happy you want to retore her to her glory again.
It will be worth it.
You've still got a lot of stuff to put away before winter sets in. do you leave the old piano out front where it is? Do you cover it up for the winter with some type of tarp or blanket to protect it?
We've had over 4 in. of rain since Wednesday and it's still raining. Feel like we need to grow web feet. Quack!Quack!
How many annuals will you be able to save in the greenhouse? I'm sorry but I haven't been able to browse on your blog for a long time. DH requires more care since his back surgery. Seems all we do is go to Drs. drug store, grocery store and chuch and that's it. I do bowl on Tuesday so that gets me out for about 3 or 4 hours.
