Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers June 20/14
WELCOME!
I am so glad you stopped by today. I love Friday’s…it is the start of the weekend…and…Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me really…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!
Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.
The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!
You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!
All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted
I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
I hope you have a beverage and possibly a snack, cuz I have a lot to share this week, since I didn’t get to share for the last couple parties!!!
It FINALLY stopped raining here this afternoon, and I grabbed my gloves and pulled a LOT of weeds from my flower beds.
I managed to get all of the front yard and part of the back yard done. Chick Weed is NOT my friend…and it seems to love my gardens.
At one point I was thinking that it would be less work to leave the chick weed and pull everything else. It was NOT pretty…but, I did managed to get most of it out. If you know Chick Weed, you know that it is never gone…one little root left behind, means a whole new plant in a few days…ugh.
I got most of my weeds pulled, and mowed the lawn, then took some photos before it got too dark outside, and here I am…ready to share!
It is stampede week here in Wainwright Alberta…and for some reason that means we are doomed to a lot of rain…it happens almost every year…hahaha…just the luck of the draw I guess…so when the sun shines and dries things up just a little bit…we jump. It sounded like a symphony of lawn mowers and weed eaters this evening in my neighborhood. Everyone had the same thought as me…do it now…’cuz it will probably rain again tomorrow… : ) It has been a very chilly spring, and things are taking their sweet time to grow…well…except for the weeds.
In order to keep this as short as possible…I will not be commenting on each photo…I am sure they will speak for themselves.
Ain’t that the truth! haha
My little hedge from last spring is doing great!!!
And…that is it for me this week. That means it’s your turn again!
So?
What are you waiting for???
Flaunt!
Flaunt like you have never Flaunted before!
I can’t wait to see!
Until Next Time…Happy Gardening!
*)*)*)…The worst moments of your life, are the ones that keep you fighting. Never give up on what is important to you.

Tootsie, You never cease to amaze me, your yard looks fantastic. I don't know how you get it all done. I get tired just looking at your work. (((((HUGS))))) Now rest for the weekend. ;) Knowing you, that's a joke.

Glenda, Your gardens look beautiful! I remember when you were just beginning them after you moved. What progress you have made! Amazing! Love the patio by the greehouse and your potting shed. I have chickweed too - as well as oxalis - in large quantities. Hate that stuff! Such is life in the garden.
Hugs, Beth
Tootsie, your garden is very-very much alive again after the almost never ending ice! Now i know why we are not having rain for so long, they are falling in your area. I've always loved your garden and greenhouse even in the old place, but i can say you lack the best plant. You should have at least 3 hoyas, a very versatile plant, my post for today.
You have a lovey garden...love the shopping cart! Thank you for hosting :)
