Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers August 22/14

Copy_of_001
WELCOME!

I am so glad you stopped by today.   I love Friday’s…it is the start of the weekend…and…Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me really…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.

The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted

I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

I have had a busy week again.  Getting the kids ready to go back to school…next week they start again…I actually forgot that today was Friday and then it donned on me!

This week I am sharing a comparison.   My yard last year was a lot nicer than this year.   We have had a strange summer in this area, and add to that, I was not able to take care of things for almost a full month…my garden this year didn’t stand a chance!  I suppose that all things considered, it isn’t as bad as it could be…but it could be SO much better!

Take a look

So?
Did you guys see the change I have been trying to hint at all summer long???

That’s my flaunt this week.   I hope you guys have a great week coming up!

Me…I will be on the run, and busy as a bee again.   Almost ever minute of the next couple weeks is planned for me already…so if I am late…you know why!

Go!!!   Flaunt!!!   Share!!!  Link in!!!

Until Next Time…Happy Gardening!

I am going to guess dusty miller? I see a lot more this year then last and it looks very nice the way it edges it all together. But it looked beautiful last year too. Dusty miller here grows huge and is perennial for me. It never looks as neat and compact as yours does. I guess I could prune it.(-: Have a good week!

Both years look very pretty.

I often tell He-Who-Mows when he says, 'Look at that!' -- "Just point out where you want me to look and tell me what I'm to see."

No wonder old people are crabby.
