The Other Stall

This Could Happen To You!
I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying:
'Hi, how are you?'
I'm not the type to start a conversation in the restroom. I don't know what got into me, but I answered, somewhat embarrassed, 'Doing' just fine!'
And the other person says: 'So what are you up to?'
What kind of question is that? At that point, I'm thinking this is too bizarre so I say:
'Uhhh, I'm like you, just sitting here. '
At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question:
'Can I come over?'
Ok, this question is just too weird for me. I figured I could politely end the conversation.
I say: 'No........I'm a little busy right now!!!'
Then I hear the person say, nervously: 'Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions!!'
ROFLMAO!!!!!
HAPPY MONDAY! gone to the greenhouse...be back soon with some photos and information!

OmGosh! I feel for you - at first I was frightened for you, then I was embarrassed with you. The first thought that came into my head was Senator Larry Craig, here at our MSP airport. Do you know that that stall is a tourist attraction? When we had the Republican National Convention here that actually had a designated person act as a guide to show people where the restroom was located.....Robyn

Hi Tootsie, this is sooooo funny and something I would absolutely do! It kind of reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine needs some potty paper and the girl in the next stall "doesn't have a square to spare." Thanks for sharing this hilarious story...I'm still laughing.
Warmly,
Tracey

Hi Tootsie. How true. I was in a stall last week. Someone opened her door, did not wash her hands, switched off the light, and was gone. I was left in total darkness. I yelled at her, but she didn't come back. I inched my way to the door in total darkness to find the switch. You made me laugh. Fieldstone/Pam

This was too funny. Is nothing sacred anymore??? I used to go take a bubble bath to escape my family. Now I take the phones with me! Maybe we were better off without cells and portables! Nancy
