Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers Nov. 21/13

Copy_of_001
Welcome!

Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol)  It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”

Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.

The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted

I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
Today…I have NOTHING….NOTHING new to share!   I looked through all my photos….even ones from years and years and years ago…and nothing really made my heart smile…so I didn’t choose but one photo to share today.

This is my yard in 2011.  I was forced to leave this garden behind when I moved…and never actually realized how beautiful my yard was until I only get to look at it in photos.   It no longer looks anything near like this, but in my heart it will always be a beautiful labor of love.

This time of year is no fun for a gardener like me.   It is so cold outside that a girl could dangerously freeze her skin in seconds…one morning it was –36C with the wind chill.   That kind of cold is not good for anyone.

I can hardly wait until things look a little less frigid, and white in my gardens…and a little more like my flaunt for this week!

…So…Today I will be leaving the big flaunts up to you guys…Cheer me up please!

What are you waiting for???

GO!!!

Get your flaunt on!!!

You can link as many posts as you like…I don’t mind seeing lots!!!

Thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments  this week... and WELCOME to all my new followers…and to those that loyally follow me and faithfully link in to this party…AND who are patient while waiting for me to FINALLY visit you…

THANK YOU!

I appreciate you more than you know.

Stay tuned Sunday/Monday for the next installment of “The 108 Year Old House” There is a LOT to share!

If you missed some…you can find the links to chapter 1, 2,3,4, 5, 6 and 7 and a post about a piece of furniture I made just for the place… by clicking on their numbers!

Until Next Time... Happy Gardening!

The temps you've mentioned today are just not within my realm of understanding. I just can't imagine it. Over here, across the pond, it looks like the wet season has begun, and it definitely feels like summer. Thanks for reminding us just how beautiful your last garden was. Such fabulous colour.

Oh, Tootsie, take care of yourself in the awful weather. I am so enjoying the renovation you are doing.

I put up a link to each of my blogs: one is Flowers and the other is my take on the Celery ends you are seeing sprout in so many blogs now.

My goodness that is too cold, but we are headed for cold and snow this weekend. I love that picture of your old garden...it shows what any garden you put your green thumb to will look like. Dreaming of flowers here too!

Hello Tootsie, oh, it's cold outside here too, and I have nothing to share that is beautiful, so I'll simply enjoy looking at the other posts. I am truly enjoying your latest remodeling project, can't wait to see the next installment!
