~~~~What Next?~~~~~
Life in my house hold has been unreal. It is nuts...and I have not had time to get around and say hello to most of my favorite people! I do hope this will not be the case very soon...be patient. I know it is killing you all that you haven't seen my name in the comment box! lol Just kidding....
I have a bad case of blogger block.
(THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE!!!)
I need help.
I don't know what to write about!
This is where you all come in....Leave me a topic suggestion or question that you would like me to answer, and if I can I will!
My head is full of gardening information, but I don't know what is and is not going to "float your boats!" Much of it, to me is just common sense or "nonsense" - hey...I am blonde....I worry that I will be patronizing or boring you all if I just pick up and write something. Goodness knows, I don't have trouble writing about plants....it is just WHAT to write about them that is making my life miserable
I can hardly wait to see what you guys suggest.
I'm stuck!
I hope you all have a great April Fool's day!
I would like to know about how many plants you use in planters? I would like to see how well the plants are growing. Kathy
I think this is so normal, but yet it stumps all of us. Really, it dosnt make sense because when you think about it--blogging should just be a fun, connecting with online friends here and there...no stresses, no drama--just an escape from our everyday worlds. I think when we are stumped, we just need to simply either skip a post or two--or maybe just post about our going on's at home that are light enough for people to take. Lord knows some of our lives are so chaotic it would scare some folks away! I've learned, for me, blogging has to be light. . Blogging takes just a few minutes a day and it dosnt have to be a stress. Visit a few other blogs when your stumped helps also--keeps us connected with our followers-plus we may find an idea to write about!
I would like to know your favorite plants and why they are your favorite. Your least favorite, yes Tootsie, we all have them, and why they are your least favorite. Would also like to know the secret to beautiful geraniums!!
I would like to know how do I keep the squirrels out of my plants. They eat the plants and really piss me off. I have some plants in a planter hooked on my daughter's tree house and those damn squirrels have biten through one of the metal hooks and have tried to eat the rest. My daughter suggested a bb gun and I am really thinking about it. Any help would be greatful.
sorry about the language but squirrels really irritate me.
Hey Tootsie!!!
I love the new photos of you on your side bar!!
I always enjoying decorating ideas and loved the little peaks in your home and hearing about your daily life situations. Gardening ideas are always helpful! Just write about what you want..isn't that what most of us do?!
Warmly,
Do you move your new seed starts to a bigger pot from the seed trays before they go outside? Mine are getting bigger and bigger and I'm following your lead. PAM
Tootsie, I am in the same boat. We both live in climate where working outside is in the future. It's so cold outside. We actually have snow on the ground. I have no new pictures to show. I feel like I am really boring right now. I wish I could help you with suggestions.
Hugs, Terrie
Tootsie I find every thing you say to be great, it isn't about pleasing us (or atleast for me!). Even though you still have snow there...there is still much to blog about. You are so talented and creative....you will find something. You are fantastic
Hmmm, I've just recently started following your blog. I'm not new to gardening, just seriously out of practice as I've been working a 70-8- hour a week job up until last NOvember! Last year Hubby dearest got so agravated with me not taking care of "my yard" that he mowed over all my flower beds.
I'm quite envious of the corner bed that you show as your main pic on your blog. I have an area at the back of my driveway where I have a little border of plants and would L-O-V-E to do something similar to what you have shown. Do you have a diagram that represents that? Did you leave any paths to get back to the plants at the rear for maintenance?
Do you have a favorite "filler" plant that you love to use everywhere?
I've been trying to go back through your archives, but I feel that there is so much to figure out before I tackle a neglected yard.
Thanks for all your inspiration!!
How about taking some pictures of your home and showing off your beautiful inner decorating. I loved the ones I saw when Busy was doing her thang around there.
BTW, I finally posted a picture of myself so if you want to see who you've been talking to pop on over!
Hi Tootsie, the hardest thing for me to do in the garden..is dig! Any tips on making that easier? I have thought of plonking soil on top of the grass..and putting a border..but I am sure there is an art to that even that I have just not seen. Marilyn
Hi Tootsie, It's just fun to hear from you now and then. It's just this time of year. I know you probably have grey skies and snow flurries like I do. At least you have your green house to escape too. Last night i was driving through a snowglobe and it was pretty - for about one minute! ~ Robyn
