Wow - this sounds like alot of fun Toots! I'd join up but sadly I haven't started anything yet. Not surprising given the climate we've been having in this part of the country. No Spring at all! Nope, we're gonna go straight from Winter to Summer here. And it's been rain, rain, rain for weeks! Yuck. I'll check in with everybody else's gardens though (while rubbing salt in my wounds!!!)

Tootsie,

I would love to do this next week (If I get anything planted by then!). This was just a little short notice. It has a catchy name though!! ;-D

Have a great weekend!

xoxo

Good idea! Wish I'd taken before pictures of a rose bush that wasn't planted last year & was given to me a few weeks ago. It was pitiful & looked almost dead! A little pruning & some systemic rose fertilizer & it's growing like crazy!

I just gave my son 4 inside plant fertilizer sticks for his house plants a little bit ago. We're on the same wavelength! ☺ Diane

Well damn, I just discovered that Strudel took over my blog today, so I can't join in. Well, that and I just posted some of my flowers on Wednesday. And plus, I really don't have much growing.
Hey, do those Miracle Gro sprinkle things count as fertilizing?

Justine :o )

Tootsie this is great. I tried signing up for one of these thingies once and didn't finish because I was stumped on the next step so consequently I've never ended up joining any. But as soon as something is bloomin' up here I plan on figuring them out so I can join yours! In the meantime I did go ahead and take your pic and give you a link at the top of my side column anyway - even if I'm not there. ;-(
Hi Tootsie~
Thanks for the invite!
What a great idea! I must say that your garden is fabulous! It reminds me of a Monet painting. So many beautiful colors!
Happy day~

HI Tootsie! I am so glad I found your blog and I just became a "follower"! I do have one question right off the bat: we have something in our yard that a "friend?" gave me and it is HORRIBLY invasive and we want to get rid of it. It is called hootintania, I think that is how you spell it. It runs on underground roots so we have sprayed and sprayed to no avail. We even dug up an entire BIG bed, went through it by hand and THOUGHT we got it all...........we didn't. So.....any suggestions!???? I am in awe of your gardens and FLOWERS!!!!!!!! I wish so much I could come visit you to see how you do all this! Til later....hugs, Pinky PS, if I post my flowers on RMS can I link them to your blog? I do that for Susan's at Between naps on the porch. Thanks!

Hi Tootsie,

We're still trying to clean up from winter,:( I hope to get some annuals planted this week. With all the rain we've had, we now have Moss growing everywhere.

You might remember me asking if anyone knew what kind of a rose we had growing, I posted a picture last year. This year the bush is humongous and full of buds, I'll take pictures when they bloom.

FYI...The plants and my Avocado tree, didn't do well at all in our enclosed, 'unheated,' porch over the winter. I lost my 8 year old, Avocado tree that I grew from a pit.
Maybe I'll grow a new one.

Hugs
