This is the flower bed on my header photo!!!! Big difference....yea...it looks awful now...but hopefully by the middle of June things will be picking up a bit. (keep your fingers crossed!)
I have been a super busy Tootsie...
-pouring cement
-finishing my garden room I started last July
-almost done planting it all
-loads of pots done up
-watering
-feeding
-mothering three very busy (and dirty kids who made the ice cream man feel like the Pied Piper today)
-fixing up the tree house
-cleaning my greenhouse up for the summer so that I can put some houseplants back in there
-cooking
-cleaning
-recovering from a cat attacking me (and then a bird situation in the greenhouse)
Not even two weeks ago we had a foot of snow on the ground...and today it was 30C (almost 90F)!!!! go figure...Only in Alberta!

Hope ya don't have anything too serious (I'm kind of relapsing today) so you can keep getting those gardens ready to surprise us with - the sneak peek looks awsome so far. Thanks for stopping by - Linda
I can't wait to see your yard in mid June, but your's still looks 10 times better than mine right now. oh the shame of it I've gotten sooo lazy & fat in my old age.
Sighhhh, ok headed to check out your Sis.....haven't been in blogland much this week.
Molly
90 degrees there? That is nuts!! I remember the snow a week ago or so! OMG that is totally crazy!!! LOL
I hope your sister keeps the plants alive!!!(-: Have a great weekend!!! I hope you have a minuet to relax!!!
Why are you pouring cement? what the hell are you doing now?
Justine :o )
By the way, Junior was in Calgary, working in a few garden centers yesterday. Today he's in Edmonton. He is not liking the 30 degree or the very flat landscape :) We BC'rs are so lucky to have mountains. Can't do without mountains.
I love the picture, because it's just so hopeful. It's the beginning and a teaser, because you already have an idea of what's coming! Like spring is for summer.
BTW, when do you sleep? You DO sleep, don't you?????
You made me VERY tired reading your list. You've been such a busy lady! So what's the story with the cat and the birds???
☺♥☺ Diane
It will be fun to have you along and we'll get lots accomplished together, won't we?
Now go to bed (if you're not already) and have an awesome Sunday, my friend!
I love the clock, the bike, all of it.
Your header garden is off to a good start...now that you have such nice weather it'll be growing like crazy...with your green thumb and all.
It sounds like you have been busy...be sure to take some for yourself too.
I was with my mom by the lake today there was a festival and it was only 8C today..brrrrr and the wind was blowing and we were soooo froze!! I hope we get some of your weather. It had rained all the way from Monday to Saturday this week...at least it was sunny today.
have a nice evening
Judi
Hope you are doing well!
♥ me.
P.S. I'm the lucky one. :)
It's hard to believe you have as much of your garden in as you do, given the weather up there. I can see that it is a labor of love! A couple questions:
What month was your full bloom header picture taken?
What do you have planted between the pavers?
How long do the poured pavers last?
I just wanted to stop by and say hello! Hello! LOL
