Sneak Peek?

This is the flower bed on my header photo!!!! Big difference....yea...it looks awful now...but hopefully by the middle of June things will be picking up a bit. (keep your fingers crossed!)
I have been a super busy Tootsie...
-pouring cement
-finishing my garden room I started last July
-almost done planting it all
-loads of pots done up
-watering
-feeding
-mothering three very busy (and dirty kids who made the ice cream man feel like the Pied Piper today)
-fixing up the tree house
-cleaning my greenhouse up for the summer so that I can put some houseplants back in there
-cooking
-cleaning
-recovering from a cat attacking me (and then a bird situation in the greenhouse)
Not even two weeks ago we had a foot of snow on the ground...and today it was 30C (almost 90F)!!!! go figure...Only in Alberta!

Whoa, I got tired just reading that! Hey you don't have time for a bug lady so get that thought out of your sweet little busy head right now! Me getting the bug that's different I don't have that long list to do - I just sit up here with that older man I live with in the woods taking pictures of critters playing (digging) in my flowers and watching the grass grow. hehehe
Hope ya don't have anything too serious (I'm kind of relapsing today) so you can keep getting those gardens ready to surprise us with - the sneak peek looks awsome so far. Thanks for stopping by - Linda

Whoa! I think it looks great, I love seeing the very beginnings of a garden. What is that planted in the front edge of your garden? You started all of this from seed? Sigh...I have gotta get better with seed. I do pretty good, not like you though. CRAP!

I think your garden looks great. I love to see the new little plants as well as the full-grown. It's fun to watch their progress. You are the busiest Mom around. I worked about 50 hours this week and I haven't had much time to think - yet plant the flats that I brought home last weekend. So you know where I'll be this afternoon. I promise I'll chime in next friday. ~ Robyn

You have certainly been a very, very busy Tootsie!! I'm amazed at all you accomplish! The flower bed will be beautiful as always! I still wish you could come and do mine.

The garden is looking great but I am truly amazed at how quickly plants grow in alberta! Totally different in BC.

By the way, Junior was in Calgary, working in a few garden centers yesterday. Today he's in Edmonton. He is not liking the 30 degree or the very flat landscape :) We BC'rs are so lucky to have mountains. Can't do without mountains.

Whoa! You are one busy lady. I have had a week like that as well. I think once you start gardening and then add in all the "normal" things it becomes overwhelming. However, it is also so rewarding when those flowers bloom and the veggies start coming in. Have a great weekend!

I can't believe you've got all this planted! I just finished yesterday and we haven't had cold weather now for months! We've had so much rain! We needed it though. I'm hoping to make you proud! God Bless! Lauralu :)

Wow, snow? Goodness, girl!

I love the picture, because it's just so hopeful. It's the beginning and a teaser, because you already have an idea of what's coming! Like spring is for summer.

BTW, when do you sleep? You DO sleep, don't you?????

Your header garden is off to a good start...now that you have such nice weather it'll be growing like crazy...with your green thumb and all.
It sounds like you have been busy...be sure to take some for yourself too.
I was with my mom by the lake today there was a festival and it was only 8C today..brrrrr and the wind was blowing and we were soooo froze!! I hope we get some of your weather. It had rained all the way from Monday to Saturday this week...at least it was sunny today.
have a nice evening

Oh my goodness, do you have time for sleep??? You have an awesome garden. You inspire me to do better. I planted some tomatoe plants...they grew tall, but all the tomatoes have rotten bottoms...I have tried for years, I think this year will do me in with tomatoes!!

Tootsie I want to know how you cut those curves out in making your flower beds. I need a templet to do that!!!!!!!!lol your yard is awesome girl and green.

Hello Tootsie,
It's hard to believe you have as much of your garden in as you do, given the weather up there. I can see that it is a labor of love! A couple questions:
What month was your full bloom header picture taken?
What do you have planted between the pavers?
How long do the poured pavers last?
I just wanted to stop by and say hello! Hello! LOL
