Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers Feb12/10

Fertilizer Friday is the day when gardeners from all over the world join in and share the blooms of their labors! After an incredibly busy and stressful week, it is nice to know I can relax and take a peek at some of the loveliest blogs-and the gardens they showcase....
If you are new to this party...WELCOME!!! If you are a regular...WELCOME BACK! Anyone can post plants of any kind...you are all welcome...the more the merrier!
Now...if you are not familiar with the winter rules here...you will be...since I have ZERO to share...my gardens are bare...I (and other gardeners in similar climates) are sharing our favorite photos from months, gardens, years gone by, or the current indoor gardens and houseplants that they have. Those who have real live beauty to share are doing just that!
I would like to add, that if you are not a fertilizer...you may still join in. The name Fertilizer Friday actually was coined to remind those of us who like to feed our greens, but forget! Fertilizing is not a must...but the flaunting...IS!
Please Publish the Fertilizer Friday Logo at the top of this post, and link into the mister linky list below. If you do not do this, you may not get as many "tourists" visiting your Friday post.

So? What are we waiting for? Feed your flowers/ houseplants...gardens...snap some photos, link in and Flaunt with me!

Now...I want to share an update of sorts. I don't have too much to offer that you have not seen yet...as I have not planted any new seeds (it's way too early yet) and I have been very absent this past week. Life has been very busy for this Tootsie lately. I have a lot on the go, but nothing is ready to share yet...be patient...this will end soon! ha ha
So...here's my update!
Last week I shared the fresh sprouts of these same Geraniums...This week I am so pleased to present them with their second set of leaves! I am also happy to announce...that some of the "no shows" have decided to show up...and we have some very teeny sprouts appearing!
Aren't they cute? They look like real Geraniums already! lol
I have been so proud of myself that the Loufa is doing so very well...Look how many I have now!
I bet I am the ONLY one in this area to have these growing! Shh...don't tell anyone K? ha ha!
Here's the close up of the first one that sprouted...I love the veins in the leaves! Every time I look at these plants, I think how lucky I am to have so many wonderful gardening friends all over the world...thanks guys!
Okay guys...hit the linky...and flaunt with me! I will be there with bells on!
One more thing...this Valentine's Day is my Busy's birthday...she is turning 5! She is so sweet...she thinks the whole world decorates and celebrates that she is getting bigger!
She sends a big hug to Gloria...her biggest fan!

You are so funny girl! Of course you are welcome to enter the LL necklace giveaway. Thanks for coming by and entering! My last one I had a bunch of breakables in it and sure enough my winner just let me know tonight two of the items were broken in half. Sigh...Darn post office just threw it around I guess.

Happy Valentines Day! ~Melissa :)

Okay, I finally made to a post. I love gardening, but I also love cooking, both are on Friday, I was torn. So this Friday I joined both memes. Thank you for hosting, I do like learning what you've done with the geraniums. What type of soil did you use? It looked so dark and rich. Happy FF!

Happy birthday to Busy!! What a fun day for a birthday! My FIL says the same thing about his birthday but that everyone puts of fireworks! His birthday is New Year's Eve and he's such a hoot about it! Enjoy your day. I seriously think you need to open a nursery for all these wonderful plants, especially if no one else has them sprouting yet!

I've never tried geraniums from seed. Yours are looking great. I'm not familiar with the Loufa plant, I'm going to go google that one.
