Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers March12/10

Fertilizer Friday is the day when gardeners from all over the world join in and share the blooms of their labors! After an incredibly busy and stressful week, it is nice to know I can relax and take a peek at some of the loveliest blogs-and the gardens they showcase....
If you are new to this party...WELCOME!!! If you are a regular...WELCOME BACK! Anyone can post plants of any kind...you are all welcome...the more the merrier!
Now...if you are not familiar with the winter rules here...you will be...since I have ZERO to share...my gardens are bare...I (and other gardeners in similar climates) are sharing our favorite photos from months, gardens, years gone by, or the current indoor gardens and houseplants that they have. Those who have real live beauty to share are doing just that!
I would like to add, that if you are not a fertilizer...you may still join in. The name Fertilizer Friday actually was coined to remind those of us who like to feed our greens, but forget! Fertilizing is not a must...but the flaunting...IS!
Please Publish the Fertilizer Friday Logo at the top of this post, and link into the mister linky list below. If you do not do this, you may not get as many "tourists" visiting your Friday post.

This week I have only spent 2 hours in the greenhouse...but they were a rewarding and productive 2 hours...

I am happy to share this ...can you see what I see?
Yep!!! Its teensy little plants all over EVERY tray in the greenhouse!!!! These are Daisy.
Pansy.
PetuniaWave Petunia.
Dahlia.
Coleus and Impatiens need to be thinned into individual cels..(tiny seeds end up unevenly planted at first)
The Loofah are planning a take over of the entire greenhouse! This is 10 of the 22 that I have.
OOPS!!! Make that 23 loofah plants! There seems to be a "visitor" in the banana that sprouted the other day!!!
My big lady Mandevilla is doing swimminly in the greenhouse this winter!!! I need to re-arrange some things so she can stop tying herself to everything...and just grow!
I have been VERY busy this week...some could say as busy as a sac of buttholes at a bean eating contest...(haha...made ya laugh didn't I?)
I have been busy, and I do intend to visit each and every one of you...and share some of what's up here....provided that I get my planting done this weekend. I am headed out to the greenhouse right now...so be patient with me...One Tootsie can only spread herself around so much!

So? Whatcha Waitin For???? FLAUNT!

I grew loofah one year! I was too anxious to harvest, and I didn't let them ripen enough. I've always wanted to try again ... too busy growing roses right now to do veggies or ornamentals.

I love seeing your greenhouse when it's full of all those seedlings. The Loofahs have such pretty leaves on them. Hope you get some more time in your greenhouse this week.

Oh your green house looks like it is full of spring with all those little green heads popping up through the soil. Just got some of my plants put in the soil this last week, can't wait to see them grow. Thank you for Fertilizer Friday, it is so much fun to join in with and to view.

Isn't life in a greenhouse just grand? I usually don't open mine until the third week in April... I don't know that I can stand waiting that long this year! LC

Everything looks great. Love your mandevilla. Do you keep in a pot year round or do you put it in the ground and pot up for the winter?

Justine said...

Did you just say a sack full of butt holes? Heeheeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Look at all those babies sprouting! They're so damn cute. Would you believe I don't think I've ever seen a dahlia in person? But the ones I've seen in pictures are amazing. Now I can't wait to see yours!

Love seeing all the seedlings!

I have my first bloom of the season. I am so excited!

I was so excited to post my picture of my flower that I added it to my post first. When I went back to add your button, I couldn't figure out how to put it first, so I put it at the bottom of the post. Hopefully, as I get acustomed to seeing flowers again, I will return to my blogging senses. :-)

Looks like you have a great start. I'm in the same shape with the dead/gray gardens and I'm almost as far in the deep south of the U.S. as you can get. It's been that bad this winter even for us! I look forward to seeing everybody's posts but it'll be awhile before y'all see anything from my gardens. :(

I love your new blog look though and I'm putting your button on my My New 30 blog where my flowers live!

Hi Tootsie,
You sure have been busy! You'll have lots of flowers to flaunt this summer.

My kitchen remodel starts Tuesday, so I have been busy taking things out of the kitchen. Whew, I'm glad the end is in sight! I dreamed last night that it was finished, and he had used weird cupboards and drawers that were hinged so they would come off, and come off they did when I tried to open them.

I got a post up last night, then forgot to link in.

Happy almost spring!
