Life....Advice

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Thanks for the reminder. We all need to be reminded from time to time.

I think you might be interested in a new meme. Another blogger friend is starting a "what are you thankful for" monthly post starting this Saturday. It's Cindy at Country Blessings - if you don't already follow her you can find her on my blog sidebar.

Dear Tootsie I appreciate that good advice. Got another family situation driving me mad. But It will work out, it always does. It is just hell in the emotional turmoil I go through with my drama queen daughter. Love you.

Thanks, Tootsie. I have been praying this evening, asking God for wisdom. There are some special education students I work with who have decided they don't like me. It started with a couple sisters, and now there are others who don't want to follow directions from me. Part of it is because they don't like it when I correct them in music class. I've talked to their regular teachers, and they don't let them get by with poking each other, smacking each other with their materials and general silliness.

A teacher I talked to about it said I can't try to get them to like me. I need to act like they don't exist except for when I need to give them a direction. That's hard for me. I want to get along with everyone. Then, I see them giving hugs to the other paras. It's hard.

Also, I have some aches and pains that are bothering me, and a bad headache. I didn't garden this evening, even though the weather was finally warm enough.

I better stop with my pity party. God did give me some encouragement in my Bible reading this evening. Then, when I read this, I knew I was meant to see it before going to bed.

Thanks!

You are an amazing grower lady! Your product looks so incredible. If we ever start a greenhouse location out there, I'm looking you up :)

That was too cute, you offering to water our hydrangeas in the store! what a doll. The weather has been so bad that we haven't shipped for a week to Alberta. We have my brother-in-law going to all the Calgary stores to assess the situation. Any bedding plants sitting inside a warehouse that long will not have fared well :(

Another tough spring season here at Darvonda.....just like every other season :) I'm not sure you would like the REALITY if greenhouse life Tootsie. It's a tough one LOL
I can hardly believe my eyes those Marigolds . My seed aren't up yet.
Well, hope you watch our Kentucky Derby Sat eastern time 4pm. It's a tight race, hard to pick one. Guess I'll bet looking Lucky and a long shot Super Saver

This is actually one of my favorite sayings and has become my Mantra for the last year since my youngest son decided to be estranged from me. Thank you for this post and reminding me of it again. It's been a rough week.
Hugs,
