On The Mend

Just quickly wanted to update for all those who have been so very kind to my family over the last few days. My Dad's health crisis has not ended yet..but he is on the mend. I thank you all for the hundreds of emails, comments and prayers you have left for him and my mom and the family.
I am on the road again to the city today to visit him in hospital. I am hopeful to see him back to silly and active very soon.
It really is a very scary situation...and reality sort of set in that my Dad is not a superhero that is invincible. He looks so very small and vulnerable and still in that bed. I did not like to see this. He is usually a vibrant active man full of mischief and silliness.
I know he's on the mend, because he was complaining about not being able to swap car bodies and engine hoists and all kinds of "his" stuff. I hope he is able to keep up on the junkin though...cuz his little Toots is running out of the "good" stuff. Ha ha.

My mom left you all a comment on the last post I put up about my dad. She and Dad are as touched as I am at the amount of support and compassion there is on my followers list. Thank you all again from me and my Mom and Dad.
I don't think I will be able to get back to everyone personally...I am so far behind as it is...so I would like to thank you all right now.
