Yvonne over at La Petite Gallery has graciously presented lil ol me with the Kreative Blogger award. ( and just when I had rolled up that red carpet and packed away my runway gowns...)
I am so flattered that she would think of me.
There are a couple of rules with this award. One is that I need to tell you all 7 interesting things about me. The second is that I need to name some people to receive this award.

Okay...those who would like to have this award...TAKE it with my blessing...I don't know who I would nominate...cause if I only can pick 7....it just would be too hard...I follow LOTS of blogs...so I want to award it to you all! (there...that's out of the way)

Now lets see....7 interesting things....
hmmmmm
I'm totally drawing a blank here....interesting? Me? HA! I wish!
Would you settle for 7 plain old things?
1. I have recently become a single mother of three beautiful monsters. Yep! I finally broke free from the nastiness that I once called a marriage. This was a long painful journey...that is almost over. I am excited to begin my new life...and to find some happiness again. No one should live in an abusive situation...NO ONE. Soon I will be divorced...FREE!
2. I have two tattoos. One on the back of my neck...one on my right ankle. I only got them in the last couple of years...but the ones I chose remind me who I am, and how strong I can be....and that I never walk alone.
3. I just purchased my first pair of eyeglasses since 1999! ha ha....I don't even know where my other ones are at this point...I wear my contact lenses all the time! And probably still will as they are still UGLY...hahaha
4. my favorite poem is Footprints. When I am feeling very frustrated, and alone...I often have the last line pop into my head..."It was then that I carried you"...
5. In spite of all the drama that has taken place over the last few months, I have been working on some things that I have always wanted to do. One of these will be revealed soon.
6. Because of the nightmare my kids and I have had to endure...I have found a strength inside that I did not know I had. Realizing my self worth and value was a long overdue event. My kids and I are very close and no one or nothing will ever break that relationship down again. I am so proud of them all for being who they are inside in spite of the situation.
7. No matter where I am or what I am doing, I often find myself composing a blog post about it in my head, to share with all of you. I think maybe you should consider yourself lucky that not every "composed " post makes it to publication! hahahah...some are pretty silly! I just wish I had more time to post and share those things that I do think you would enjoy...I hope life slows a little soon! Winter is coming...maybe that will help...in between hockey practice and tourneys...lol

Now...I am supposed to list 7 blogs I love...and you know I can't do that...so I have to say I will award this to anyone of you bloggers who read this post to the end. I know it was a boring one, so you deserve it if you make it to the end.

So? that's it! That's my award post...
stay tuned for Fertilizer Friday this week...It will be a good day!
until then...hugs smiles for all my readers
{and the three biggest winks for those three who just idolize me! B(&"h"),T,J....this is for you *)*)*) MWUAH!} (you know who you are!)

Woman, you are amazing! I had no idea you were dealing with so much in your life; AND you post this beautiful blog each week!

I am "happily divorced", as I like to say. Fortunately, my EX and I came to have a wonderful relationship (he died 3+ yr ago). But yup, sometimes it's so much better to be single and healthy than to stick it out. I know that when we divored, my EX became a much better Dad and I became a much more relaxed Mom.

Good luck on your new life. God's blessings will be with you.

You are never boring and I think anyone who has traveled this journey you are on (and I am one of them) know how hard it is but how much better life is on the other side!! You are amazing!
