WELCOME!!!!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!! Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!
You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!
All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted.
So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
Before I do my flaunt…I have to say:
I am a Canadian Girl. Born and raised in Alberta Canada.
I am proud to be a Canadian and live in this beautiful country.
Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!
The kids are out of school for summer holidays…and I could not be happier!!! I love spending time with them…and my yard hasn’t had less than 6 kids in it all week!
I would like to share what they got to see all week:
I spent the majority of my garden time pulling masses of chick weed from my flower beds. 9 cans worth to be exact. It is a huge issue for us in this neighborhood.
All the rain and cooler temps has made for perfect weed growing conditions! lol. Its all gone now though…for a few days anyways.
Some of the edging plants had to be pulled with the weeds…It was way too thick to do anything else.
My peony in the back has started to bloom. They never last long enough!
They are such huge and delicate looking blooms!!! Like pretty puffs!
My weed free flower beds….I can’t wait till they are filled with color!!!
I am sharing some of my Proven winner trials here this week too!!! They are in the pots in this bed! I am so glad they are starting to catch…
PRETTY!!!
MY FAVORITE!!!
These are LOVING the location above the bench!!!
GORGEOUS!!!
Thanks again Proven Winners!!!
I am so impatient …I want this bed to fill up NOW…lol
I added some strings of lights…On Monday I will share them in the evening!
Iris’s are blooming…They are so pretty!
My Minature Iris is certainly ELECTRIC!
It’s almost like they glow!!!
…Last but not least….my goldfish plant…
Is blooming!!!! yay!!!
Well…that is my flaunt for this week….I could have gone on and on…but decided to save some for Monday!
Hugs, smiles and wishes of a safe and happy weekend to you all…thanks for popping in this week and for linking in to my little party! I can’t wait to see what is going on in your gardens!
Until next week…happy gardening!

Your blooms are lovely. My sister-in-law, like you can make something out of nothing.

I didn't get to add to the your link this week - I had a busy week and it slipped my mind entirely!
Will have more to show next week though. Hope you had a great Canada Day.
Just beautiful gardens!!!
I assume that you grow your own annuals??
Happy Canada Day!! Several years ago we were on vacation to Niagra Falls on the Canadian side and had the privlege of seeing the firework over the Falls for Canada Day and July 4th. It was spectacular!!
Hugs,
Debbie
But back to the chickweed, what is it with that stuff? I have an infestation of it too, and I hate pulling it since it breaks off so easily; such a 'delicate' weed isn't it? Grrr.
I hope you're having a fantastic weekend!
