HAPPY FRIDAY AGAIN!!!! I am SO glad to see you!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!! Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing! You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly! All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted.
So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

The summer is almost over for my kids!!! School is just around the corner for them and that has been keeping us kind of busy this week…well that and a lot of family time spent doing outdoor activities and just hanging out together enjoying each other. I must admit…I wish they didn’t have to go back to school for a few more weeks…because I am kind of enjoying our summer! They officially go back to the “grind” the first week of September.

When I went to take my photos for this week’s flaunt…it was just finished raining…so everything was a little bit soggy. I did however find a few things I wanted to share this week. I had to take my photos a day or two early as I am not going to be near my computer for a couple of days…(appointments) …so I had to take what I could get!

This poor little guy looks like he just got out of the shower! He stayed there for quite a while just waiting for his body to dry enough that he could fly away. It was a rather cold day out…the coolest we have had in weeks…we only got up to 16C!

There is just something about the Dahlia that catches my attention…There are no two the same…and the colors are absolutely perfect.

DSCN4839

This bloom was SO full that it almost made itself into a complete ball!

DSCN4844

This one is so cheerful!!! I love the coral colors in my garden…they seem to smile!

DSCN4846

They all seem to have their own personalities. This one seems a little raggedy and flustered…*)

DSCN4847

The bi color petunias are pretty in their pots…I love the pink and green combination…it sure does pop!

Okay kids…that is all for me for this week…now it is your turn.,,,

What are you waiting for??? Get flaunting!

I wish all of you hugs and smiles, and safe and happy weekend plans! Thank you all so much for dropping in today, and to those that faithfully link in to this party…and who are patient while waiting for me to finally visit you…THANK YOU!

Until Next Time….Happy Gardening!

Hi Tootsie, those are real happy shots, as if you are in the tropics. I mostly love the variegated Petunia and dahlia with colored margins, they really look very cheerful. And that hirsute bee is very well taken. Enjoy the weekend. At least even if you have rains you don't have floods. Our people are still suffering from the floods here which happened for the first time. But dont worry about me, I and my family are not affected.

Hi Tootsie; great flower shots, great close up detail. My flowers are at their best right now although I likely think that during any part of the growing season. Glad I could join in this week. Thanks for hosting.

Hi Tootsie,

Love your photos of the dahlias and bumblebee. Such lovely colors. I sometimes see bees waiting to dry off from too after using the sprinklers. I absolutely love the colors of the bi color petunia. I don't think I have seen those in our nurseries here. Hoping that you have a wonderful weekend.
