Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers Nov. 16/12

Copy_of_001
GET READY!!!! IT IS FRIDAY!!! FRIDAY IS FLAUNTING DAY!!! I am so glad you stopped by!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!! Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing! You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly! All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or t
he linky will be deleted. So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
Another busy week has come and gone in my household…and the snow is still laying on the ground.  We were lucky enough to have some slightly warmer weather in Alberta the last couple of days…it was a welcome event since last weekend brought a big dump of snow and very bad roads for traveling.
I don’t have anything great to share this week…not much has transpired in the greenhouse since last I showed you…so I think I will share some favorite photos from the past!

I loved that vine that grew up and around the front stoop of my old home.  I hope the ones I planted at this house will do as well…

I didn’t have huge pots of petunias this past year…I think I will try to remember to plant myself some like these next season.

Oh how cheerful all the different colors together are!  This is a must in my gardens EVERY year!

It never seemed to matter what I planted in this bed…it always looked fantastic.  I also really enjoyed the stone pads that I poured to make my path…

Perhaps next summer I will get a chance to make some in this yard.  They sure did compliment the flower pots…and gave a little charm to each area that I used them in!
I miss summer…winter in Alberta is so LONG…listen to me…the winter has only begun and I am already longing for spring!  I must be a gardener!
Okay kids…that is all for me for this week…now it is your turn.,,,
What are you waiting for??? Get flaunting!
I wish all of you hugs and smiles, and safe and happy weekend plans! Thank you all so much for dropping in today, and to those that faithfully link in to this party…and who are patient while waiting for me to finally visit you…THANK YOU!
Until Next Time... Happy Gardening!

Hi Glenda, Love the 3rd and 4th photo - well, actually I love them all but those two really are glorious! I loved your old header bed. You are an artist!

Glenda, so that's my problem! I am already yearning for spring too! What did you use to make your stone pads? Did you use a form?

I admit I moved north to have more snow for skiing/snowmobiling...but yea, I sure long for spring the entire time just to get back to playing in the dirt.
