WELL HELLO THERE!

WELCOME FRIEND!

Do you know what day it is???

It’s Friday !!!!

Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol)  It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!!

Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!

If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like.

The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted

So?????....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...

I like the colour of the zinnia and the hedge looks quite healthy, I remember when you planted it.

I always enjoy your colorful photos. We just had our first frost last night it was 31 degrees when I woke up, BRRRR!

That burgundy rudbeckia..what variety is that? I think that's the one I tried to grow and I wasn't impressed the first year and pulled it up. It was too spindly and color wasn't what all the catalogs had shown. Guess I should have kept it; moved it elsewhere and maybe I should haven't given it more time to establish itself. Yours is a very stunning color. Is there a reason that you planted those hedges inside the cinder blocks? How are you going to remove them when the hedge gets more established? I know you probably had a good reason. My gardening friend uses cinder blocks that somebody gave her to plant her herbs in, plus they kind of form a fence like effect to separate that part of her back yard.

Glenda, that foxglove is beautiful..never seen a foxglove that color..what variety is it and where did you buy the seeds? Never grown foxgloves before, maybe I should try them.

Your garden is very healthy and very beautiful. Love the lime green zinnia and your rudbeckia. It's always a pleasure to visit your gardens, Glenda. Have a great wknd!
Amazing lime green zinnias! Your rudbeckia is pretty, too, but I am especially loving those pretty, old-fashioned nicotana flowers. I had forgotten about them until I just now saw them on your post. I used to grow them years ago. I believe they used to sell flats of the plants, but I haven't seen them for sale for years. I'm making a note to look for some seeds to plant next spring.

I thought I commented here last week, I certainly meant to think you for hosting.

Envious of your volunteer Nicotiana. I think I am going to have start anew with some.

Common names are different everywhere. Your friend's foxglove is Larkspur here. Notice the little part in the center looks kind of like a bunny's head?

Our foxgloves look like thimbles and now 'false foxglove' is about to bloom in the meadows. Botanical names are Digitalis, Consolida and Agalinis. So much to remember, it makes my head bizzy!
