A Tour....

TA-DA!!!!! Welcome to my greenhouse...it is not as big or technical as the one Janera gets to play in...but it works for me!
almost cleaned all the way up! Good enough for now...Shelving placed...but not fully assembled...not until the Christmas tree is out of the sun room...and the plants are back in the house!
See! I told you I had a desk! This is where you all will be sitting when we work together out here...maybe you can sit beside the "FAKE PLANT!!!" Just shameful aren't I? lol
We can watch t.v. while we plant....or have a pop from the fridge...I still need to clean my shelves...but at least we can get into here!
This was a gift a long time ago...I love this poem
see that list...it is the list of flowers to order seed for!
Now for the rest of the place...my "throne" has to go out to the garage eventually...but for now it is fine where it is.

shelves that will soon hold hundreds of seed cells...for now are stacked and have houseplants on them and various misc items....this was that "black wall" from the last post...
At one point I almost quit...but felt a little "kick" I wonder if it was Betty?
Would her boot look like this one? Hope not...that would hurt my butt!
Maybe it looks like this? kinda Jack and the beanstalk isn't it?
Maybe she roller skates over.....
Or she could be wearing old fashioned work boots? lol
It doesn't matter what the boots she wears look like....they did the trick!
Do you remember a while back I showed you this one? she was in a stand and was HUGE. The branches touched the floor....well...that frost finished a lot of that off...so it had to have a hair cut!
This is that huge Geranium....the one called Nanny....the frost got to her too....Hope they come back nicely...
Maybe this angel will wake up and watch over them all....I sure hope so!
another view from the desk.....look! there IS a floor in there!
even the cupboard door closes now!
well all...it has been several hours...that garbage bag there is full....and I am tired. It is about 1AM....and this Toots is dirty, smells like dust and is tired...
Goodnight little house!
Thanks for joining me in the greenhouse tour....see you tomorrow!

Great photos Tootsie! It looks like you have been and will continue to be a busy gal with your gardening. It's such a good hobby, though.... it produces beautiful flowers and plants, relaxes your mind, and burns calories. Perfect!!!

Tootsie, What in heavens name were you doing out in your greenhouse so late???? Haven't you ever heard of coming in out of the cold. The rate your going you'll be sick for Christmas and the kids wouldn't be to happy about that, or you either. I thought since you were 'crowned', that you were going to take better care of yourself. Yep, even those 'Ghosts' in the picture were trying to tell you something.
Your plants look good, I think I'm going to have to bring some of mine in from the sunroom, they are 'drooping' from the cold. :( It was been unusually cold here, so I was so surprised when I saw that one of our fish, in our pond, had a baby. I'm not sure which one, but it's swimming around like crazy. Please take care of yourself.

Love & Hugs
'D'

Just lovely, the boots are great! I have aloe growing in one of my husband's old work boots. That's a heck of a list of seeds there.

Wow! This was amazing! I don't have a green thumb/...as a matter of a fact I am known as serial plant killer. (Head hung in shame) I just never mastered the art of gardening...but I adore plants and seeing your gardens! My traits did not come from my mama, she can plant a broom handle and bristles will sprout! LOL but not me. I planted okra one time so deep it never came up! Just pray for me!! I am thinking about an herb garden in the spring!! Merry Christmas!!

what a great place to work your soul and mind! I love all those boots...I have one boot plant that I put out and put Moss Roses in. One year it was so stunning--unreal. I went camping and forgot to bring it in--when I got back someone has stolen it. I was soooo sad. I found the boot again in another store and now when I go someplace I bring it inside.

I love gardening, i have alot to learn, but each year I learn and do more.

It is great to see your greenhouse and I do believe I hear Tootsie's back in this post too!
A fake plant???? now out of anyone else I probably wouldn't give it a second glance (I am not against them) but Tootsie! Ms Greenthumbs can it be? Just kidding girl!
You will have to keep guessing what my boots look like!

Betty
Tootsie, I am so glad to see you have the greenhouse all cleaned up and ready to go. Did the cold kill the aphids?? I sure hope so. I love all of your boots. I am getting so excited for spring. Larry says no potted plants because of my shoulder. I sure hope I'm better by then. And can have my potted plants. I am digging into the seed catalogs. Making my list and checking it twice. Love you!! Terrie
You breathed new life into your greenhouse! I always loved it and it looks spiffy! I got some old army boots here so I'm soooo gonna copy you!

Oh Tootsie, if you saw my flower garden you would have a massive coronary. Seriously, it's that bad. Weeds everywhere.

I am allergic to pollen so I don't know what I was thinking planting such a big flower garden. I've been thinking of just pulling it out and putting grass down....

Your greenhouse looks awesome and I will have a diet pepsi please, or whatever you have.

About your comment: Yes, I do think we need to be careful. It's so easy to neglect ourselves because we get so busy. It's also easy to think that it just doesn't matter what we look like or to not care who sees us.

LOL Ghosts! I think your camera lens needs a good cleaning is all.

I thought the little angel was sitting shivering from the cold. LOL!

You did a great job. Where do you get the energy? I just want to hibernate.

Thanks for the greenhouse tour, Tootsie! I'm so glad that you are enjoying it. I'll have a Coke, please. Love the boots. I could use some right now because we're snowed in. Maybe I'll try to get photos of our Winter Wonderland and post them to RMS. By the way, with the new set-up, I changed my "cover." I think you'll like it. Smiles, Fieldstone/Pam

So glad to see you got the place all neat, tidy, and ready for action! It's going to be fun watching you create your flower magic in there. One of these days I'm gonna have a greenhouse of my own *fingers crossed*
Hey Tootsie! I can see where Busy gets her name, we should change yours to Busy Tootsie! Your greenhouse is quite impressive. I love all the boots, they're awesome! ♥ Diane

Hey Toots,
Wow, what a great job you've done in your greenhouse! It's so nice to see that your passion for plants is still alive and kicking. I came across a quote about gardening, "Plants give us oxygen for the lungs and for the soul" by Linda Solegato. This made me think of you.. gardening has such curative powers, I hope that it fills you with joy and energy. Thanks for your visit!

Woman, what in the world are you talking about "as big or technical as the one Janera plays in"??? I don't have a real greenhouse. Wish I did! Yours is fabulous, and I'm jealous!

Hope your Christmas is wonderful.
