Welcome to 2010!!! Are You Ready?

Okay kids...break time is OVER!!! I am extending an invitation to you all to join me and the other faithful participants for Fertilizer Fridays!!! You have a couple of days to get ready to post what ever it is that you have growing (inside or out) in your area!
Thank you to all of you for the Christmas and New Year greetings...I had some "issues" with my laptop...but thankfully, this is a thing of the past, and I am up and running again, hopefully to get around to all of your blogs for a little visit!
In the mean time...Please head over to visit Darla at More Family and Flowers for a challeng to share what we are grateful for... Me...I'm grateful that I don't have to warm up my truck...it is cold and snowing here again...and a heated garage is something to be very grateful for around these parts early in the morning! What are you grateful for? head over and join Darla...it will open your eyes to the little things that mean the most!
See you Friday!!! I can't wait to see what you have growing...or dying...or just green!

Hi Tootsie!

Happy New Year. Hope you had a wonderful holiday! It is just frigid here with more snow on the way. Be glad you have that heated garage. We have a ton of storage and my hubby's flashy car in the garage so I am in the driveway. Totally unheated!!

Hope to be in FF once something starts to grow. I am in indoor plant serial killer, so I don't think I will be able to contribute. I will be by to see what you have, my friend! :-)

xoxo

I'm grateful to have found my husband. We share so much together and it makes life a lot happier that way.

I know couples who do not have a single shared interest and that seems very sad to me.

Me? I'm grateful I got a snow day today!!!
Up until last winter we'd not had any decent amount of snow for years. This year is already surpassing last year by quite a few inches and I'm loving it! My inner 8 year old is having a ball :)

Howdy Tootsie! How have you been, girl? I have not been around because I had a rough autumn - I finally realized that the emotional issues that hit every fall are tied to my mom's illness and passing (diagnosed Nov '04, and passed Nov '05). Duh! I am doing much better and will hopefully get my blog up and running again soon. I had a lovely Christmas holiday and am looking forward to the promised warmer weather this weekend. That must mean you'll be enjoying it by Thursday or so? Glad to see you are still hosting Fertilizer Fridays and that you are your usual chirpy self ;-) Happy New Year to you!
I can truthfuly say I'm very grateful for having met you and having you in my life...Your one of the best girl...I'm so glad I met you on RMS and choose to adopt you girl...I hope this coing year is a wonderful one for you Toots as you so deserve Happiness in your life...Many Blessings to you my Dear friend...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria aka Calif.Mama

I'm so glad the holidays are over and on with the new year. I am so excited about the coming spring. I just had to plant some seeds on Sunday. I couldn't wait but I think the lettuce and broccoli will produce even if I have to put them in pots in my utility room window (there is no heat in utility room). Have a good day Tootsie and stay warm.

I've just been making my seedlists so I can get my seeds ordered (late). About Feb. 15, we'll be starting in the greenhouses. That's good and thats good, but just too soon. We have no life once the work starts, since we are a mom-and-pop operation with no hired help we can delegate to to give ouselves some time off. Since I rarely go to your town, and you likely don't come to my village, we should make a date some time to meet somewhere in the middle.

Hi Friend! It seems like forever since I have been over- so sorry- already feel like I am running behind and it's just the new year starting!

I was thinking of you today - I have packed away most of Christmas- keeping my little white tree up till Valentines I think- so am thinking about spring and planting and seeds and needing to get my grow lights put up somewhere so I can get a heads start this year! It is an unsightly contraption so needs to be somewhere hiding. I haven't gotten any seed catalogs for some reason yet. Do you have any seed suggestions for this spring to try?

Oh Tootsie! I don't deserve you!! I ignore my outside flowers until Springtime..and it has been in the 70's here for days. I have NO excuse not to have something that blooms through the winter. However, my ferns are doing well..at least from what I can see of them.
Your plants are beautiful! We are expecting a wee bit of rain..but it usually passes us by! Your plants make your room just beautiful!
Hugs,
Mona

I am looking forward to seeing what you do in Spring. I NEED help! :)

Hi Tootsie
I had a wee computer issue today. I went in to change something in my blog profile and I ended up changing the wrong thing and I think I may have severed all connections I had - links and blog followers and that sort of thing. I still want to be your blog friend. If you still want to follow me, you may have to redo it. I learn everything on the computer through trial and error and this was one big error! Sorry about that.
