Fertilizer Friday is the day when gardeners from all over the world join in and share the blooms of their labors!
If you are new to this party...WELCOME!!! If you are a regular...WELCOME BACK! Anyone can post plants of any kind...you are all welcome...the more the merrier!
Now...if you are not familiar with the winter rules here...you will be...since I have ZERO to share...my gardens are bare...I (and other gardeners in similar climates) are sharing our favorite photos from months, gardens, years gone by, or the current indoor gardens and houseplants that they have. Those who have real live beauty to share are doing just that!
I would like to add, that if you are not a fertilizer...you may still join in. The name Fertilizer Friday actually was coined to remind those of us who like to feed our greens, but forget! Fertilizing is not a must...but the flaunting...IS!
Please Publish the Fertilizer Friday Logo at the top of this post, and link into the mister linky list below. If you do not do this, you may not get as many "tourists" visiting your Friday post.
I wake up every morning and look out the back door to this.
When I walk down to the garage to take the kids to school, I see this.
As I walk past this…
I am tempted to stop…cause I know how good it smells in there.
I steal a few moments to come in and water….yes…just water…’cause…I FINISHED THE PLANTING!!!
All of the seeds are sown, and most of them are up!
Things are growing like weeds!!!
Oh how good it feels to know I DID THIS.
Each day is an affirmation that I know how…
That I have a gift.
The louffa may not be the gift I want…it’s taking over the whole room….lol, but none the less, I am a very lucky girl.
I have the gift of a green thumb, and for that I am thankful.
They are almost big enough to plant into the hanging baskets…
Yep…I am ready! They just need soil and plants.
Things that grow reward me…these are baby lobelia…soon…they will bloom and reward me all summer long!
I could sit in here for hours…
Just looking at the plants…oh so peaceful.
As I sit, I dream….and lose weight…’cause it’s damn hot in there during the sunny part of the day! lol
I dream of the day this baby doesn’t need to be taken in at night…
I dream of green grass and the disappearance of that last bit of snow in my garden…so while I dream…I will visit your gardens. Some of you have things that are actually growing in your gardens!
So? What are we waiting for??? FLAUNT!!!

Hello sweet girl...I am going to run out into my yard and see if I can find anything to photograph. Our lawn in back is still struggling even though it has been fed.
That is a simply wonderful greenhouse!! Do you sell the plants or are they all for your yard. Got a feeling your yard is going to be spectacular this year..but then it was last year!
Thank you for sharing what you have accomplished. Just WOW!
Hugs and love,
Mona
Your greenhouse is very impressive... when do you normally start planting outside? I had to bring in the few flats in my greenhouse tonight as we're expecting twelve degrees... ouch- I even covered some things outside as I wasn't sure how they'd handle that much cold. I just planted my petunias under lights... started rhodochiton quite awhile ago- only a few up and it's my first time with them... no signs of delphiniums germinating yet- I think I'll move them under lights for 24/7 and see what happens... they have been in the greenhouse for several weeks. not until after the may long weekend...this year it is the end of may...I am dying to get started already....and I often cheat and do it a week early...then I stress that the weather will change! lol
good luck with your seedlings!
Mona,
plant most of them in my garden....but I have planted extra lots this year so I can sell or give some away! hurry...take a photo and link in! I want to see!
It looks like a haven for the soul. I bet it is very comforting to be in there and know your hard work is paying off. Have a great weekend.
I have to agree with you - you have a green thumb. Actually you have 2 of them. Mine is pale yellow. lol.
The fruits of your labor are amazing!
Hugs, andrea
Greenhouses are absolutely wonderful! I really like the size of yours, but no matter what the size it's never big enough!Everything inside of yours looks wonderful! It's so great to go inside in the morning it smells so green, sometimes when the roses are blooming in mine it smells sooo good!I love to sit in mine with a nice cup of tea & water! haha I like the planter hangers you have attached outside on yours, really pretty!
You amaze me every year doll! Once again, I am jealous of your greenhouse. I have nothing, nothing I tell you. Well, I have exactly one shrub flowering right now, my bridal wreath. A few other things are poking out of the ground and starting to bud up, but it's going to be awhile.
I just know those louffa's are going to be just like Zuchinni, they will grow as big as volkswagons and you will be sneaking around at night dropping all the extras off on peoples porches...
Spring stuck its head out for a day or two here, then ran away and it got cold again.
But soon... very soon... I am getting antsy already.
Your greenhouse is truly amazing and all those seedlings....you are going to have so much fun planting. I look forwared in seeing more.
Sylvia
Oh Tootsie - everything looks awesome! Maybe one day when I grow up I can have a greenhouse. (Ummm.. actually I think 50 is supposed to be grown up.) For now, I have a cold frame that I built with an old window last year. I will plant out this weekend I think.
I just discovered your blog and love it! I enjoyed visiting your greenhouse today and share in the joy that you feel when you see the seedlings come up and know that you gave "birth" to them.
Can't wait to see what you do with these new plants.

HEY GIRL... you got it going on in the greenhouse! Love all the green. I mentioned you on my post again - I hope you don't mind. MY TRAFFIC stinks so I hope EVERYONE sees how much you love me and comes visits me! LOL
Getting late and I am getting silly so I better make it a day. Talk green with you soon. BIG HUGS from your Greenhouse sista in Ohio.
Inside your greenhouse muct be heaven on earth. I can just imagine how good it smells in there.
Everything is growing so great! I too dream of the ngiht when I don not have to bring some plants in...oops! forgot gotta go get them!
Have agreat weekend!
*hugs*Deb
It has taken me from when I commented earlier to right now to finish that post. Ran outside, snapped pictures..ran back inside, out the back door...took a few pictures and the camera died. Dead!
No problem. I had something to post. And from then on it was a bit downhill.
But...finally...it's done! :)
Now..this year...I am going to pay close attention...and next year we'll see if there are any changes.
No..I won't have a greenhouse..I will let you do that..but believe me, I am going to watch every single thing you DO!!!
Hugs and love,
Mona
Hi Tootsie, I have tried to link up but I don't think Mr. linky is working. I'm going to bed, but I will try again tomorrow. Kristen
Did I say before that you should open a garden centre? I love seeing your seedlings - they sure are growing quickly!
Oh my... that's a lot of plants! I just loved to see that. And if I close my eyes I can almost feel the smell in there... People around me keeps telling me that I grow a lot from seedlings. I'll have to tell them I don't and show them this post "lol" It makes me wonder, do you sell plants? Or are you going to plant all of them in your garden?
Making me see all that, you did saw a seed inside my brain. Would I bee abel to find some frames like yours around here becaurse I'm thinking of starting to sell plants and my greenhouse is about the same size as yours.
Great post! Have a nice weekend / gittan (I'll be back for more "lol")
Hello Tootsie, Great greenhouse and a beautiful pic of one of your gardens. I too am a fan of mother nature. I just tend to what she gives me. Have a great day, Julian
How nice to have this view when you walk outside Tootsie...Can't wait to see what you do in your gardens this year.......pour some water on that remaining snow and get it out of there!
Hi Tootsie,
I would love to have that greenhouse. You must love to go out there among all of the green.
Eileen
Very very productive at your greenhouse. Can I have some seedling?
Good morning Tootsie. You certainly are blessed with a green thumb. You should be very proud that you have done so much. I am sitting on pins and needles anxious to see everyone's pretties this spring and summer.
My biggerst problem is that I tend to plant too close. I do this because I want a full look but I am seeing where it could be a problem for me. I'll be moving some of my lettuce and broccoli this weekend. I'll be in the veggie garden getting it ready.
Have a good weekend.
i don't have a green house YET, but i can live vicariously through yours!! amazing!
Well I messed my picture order up...so my FF photo is at the bottom, and trhen the link wouldn't add! UGH!!!!
Call me later on today if you can so we can discuss green house temps!
Hi Tootsie, I'm pretty new to your blog and was just about to ask the same question as Mona :) Thanks for answering, your garden is beautiful, I never have that many flowers flowering at one time!
That must be a very rewarding feeling! I'm glad you have so much enjoyment from your greenhouse. You must be very proud. It's going to be fun to see how you plant all the seedlings and what they all look like once they are blooming.
there is a sweetness and wholesomeness about those that dig into the rich earth to help nurture life and beauty :)
may heaven find you richly blessed this weekend, my friend!
Wow, look at all your babies growing. Talk about heaven on earth!! I had hoped my green house would have been built by this spring, nope didn't happen. This summer it is on the top of my project list. I have all the material just sitting ready to go. Just need an extra pair of hands and some muscle, called sons!!! Just love, love all your pictures!
What a fantastic greenhouse!! How wonderful it must be to have your own greenhouse!! You are so lucky!!
Debbie
This is my first visit to your site and I am so impressed with your green house and all of your seed growing!! Wow! Looking forward to more posts :)
Happy FF Tootsie! It makes you feel so good to be growing things and you have a green thumb that is for certain. It is hard to wait to get those plants outdoors isn't it? I am watching that louffa. If we do not hear from you for a while we will know it has trapped you in the greenhouse.LOL!
Lona
Thank you for stopping by, for your kind comments & becomming a Follower. I in turn am now Following you! You are also on my sidebar. Blessings to you!
Yes, you definitely have a gift - and what a gift you have!!!
Would you believe I finished my post for FF and started visiting people and forgot to sign my name and visit you first? How brain dead am I anyway? More than I suspected!!!
Can't wait to see the blooms!
wow Tootsie they sure are getting big in that great greenhouse of yours. Looking forward to seeing your actual garden over the next few months now that the snow has nearly all melted.
Hey, Tootsie, I hope the weather is pretty in your part of the world. We planted lettuce and spinach last weekend, so I will be joining you for organic fertilizing (thank heavens for goats! A lot of people have pretty flower baskets on their porches but I have goats and what they leave behind).
Wow -- you have a darling greenhouse! It's wonderful -- I too could spend hours in their... watching you work! (wink)
You don't have just a green thumb, my dear, you have all ten green fingers. What wonderful seedlings and baby greens -- can't wait to see your gardens come spring and summer!
Cass
I have some crocus blooming and some daffodils that are seriously thinking about it....does that count? lol Oh Glenda I do envy you with that touch you have and when I think of you I usually vision you out in the greenhouse.
Have an awesome weekend.
you're definitely gifted. your greenhouses are amazing. I noticed a few bulbs starting to emerge yesterday, then last night it was freezing again. Hope nothing was damaged... I'm just really short on time as usual. I'll live through you til I somehow find more time.
WOW! Found you thru my Blogger Buddy Jenni, this is awesome :) T.
Your yard and greenhouse is amazing. I am so impressed!! Thank you for visiting my blog and the nice comments you made. I am following yours and hope to maybe learn some tips on gardening from you.
Spring has shown up in my garden, but I haven't yet! Been so busy with our business making things to make everyone else's gardens beautiful. Got married last weekend and I can't believe it is already almost April, WOW! Your green house is amazing and I can't wait to see your garden all in bloom again, Happy Spring to you~Jacque
Thanks for becoming a follower! I was so impressed with all the variety in your annuals, that I went out and bought some more seeds today!! Larry
Wow! I wish I had one flat of your plants(-: I think more died here then I thought. My asparagas ferns are not showing any sign of life. Its pretty sad cuz I had a lot of them. A few sword ferns are dead as well and I am affraid my rabbit foot fern is gone as well)-: It was a cold winter here which was unusual so I guess thats the breaks! Live and learn I will take things inside next time(-:
On a happy note...
My Japanese Painted Fern is alive and so is my Ghost Fern! Yay!
You do have a beautiful gift and I'm so envious of it. I don't have that gift at all. In fact, plants see me coming and wither! Hope all is well with you! I don't have anything growing bz we still have a bit of snow too.
I just found your blog. We are avid gardeners. I am sure I will be joining your blog party soon.
I love your greenhouse! Do you just start things in there or do you grow other things in there year round? Love your blog, I have added my link - can't wait to visit everyone else! Thanks for letting me join. Paula from Idaho

Greenhouses how wonderful. All is still bare here
Uh huh. I'm nodding my head up and down. You should be VERY proud of what you do, because you do it like no one else I've ever known. You don't just have the gift of a green thumb though. You are also AMAZING at landscape design. When I look at the pictures of your yard throughout the summer sometimes they make me gasp because it's just that beautiful.
You need to move to a warmer place (FL has a growing season a mile long. Ahem) and do this for a LIVING.
Justine :o )
Hi - your greenhouse is AMAZING! I just found your blog too and I'm now following. I'm Canadian as well - come and visit me at my blog!
Girl, you continue to amaze me. What an awesome greenhouse. AAAh, someday I'd love to have one. So pretty!
Blessings,
Sandra
