Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers April 30/10

Copy_of_001

Okay!!! It’s Friday again already and that means it’s time to flaunt our flowers, gardens and all things green!

Now if you are not familiar with the rules of this little party…here they are;

If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!

You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!

Your post must include the logo above and a link to Tootise Time, or the linky will be deleted. I don’t mean to be harsh, but there have been a lot of people linking in and when the participants graciously click over to their blogs, there is no sign of Fertilizer Friday anywhere to be found. This is not fair to those who do follow the rules, therefore…well you know!

So? what are you waiting for? Get outside, feed, water, snap and post!

Can you believe it is already the end of April? I am just amazed each week when I look at the calendar and realize it is already time to post for this party. Time is really flying by in my world. Life is picking up…spring is here…well sort of. We had a lot of rain, wind and even snow here in Alberta Canada this week. It was COLD!!! But…this is the case when you live here…all the seasons can show themself in one day! Ha-ha. Next week is supposed to be nicer…so I know my fingers are crossed!

None the less, the greenhouse is still growing up a storm….take a look!

023

I made a trip to Costco for groceries…and happened upon the Darvonda carts…so One Hydrangea came home with me…Thanks Tamara for growing such pretty flowers for me!!!

022

Some Hibiscus that a fellow blogger sent me seeds for. I wish I had labelled who sent me what…ha-ha

021

My Banana is growing nicely…I do wish the rest of the seeds would sprout…grrrr.

020

My big pots are needing some space…guess I need to spend some time making some room. Grammie B…your flowers are coming soon!!! Toots needs the space!019

Yep…things are branching out!018

Niffer’s pots are breaking into bloom…maybe she needs to take her flowers home …Toots needs the room!!!! Hint Hint!!! *)

017

Marigold forest is blooming and smells great!

016

The hanging baskets are lowered a bit…but will need to be lowered more soon…perhaps a slight trim will be in order…015

It’s a total jungle in here!!013

And last but not least….the Loofah…is back to the big pain in the neck it was….and is growing like a weed!!!

Now…I have been sick. I have been busy and I have a lot of comments to reply to still from last week. Please be patient…I will get around soon. I do my bestest to get to each one of the participants…sooner or later!

I love my blogging buddies…and I have been missing you. Hopefully soon I will have a new routine and will be able to find more time to hang online!

Your greenhouse looks better already than my garden usually does at the peak of the season.

I'm still plugging away on getting the garden ready, hope to have it done and ready to plant by the 15th of May

Hi Tootsie, you should rest well this weekend. Dont bother to comment on our sites if you are still aching, rest, sleep, vitamins, laughter, those will pop you to get well and be back to blogging again. Take care. Your plants are so beautiful anyway, they will still be lovely even if you rest for a while.

Hi Glenda,
Your greenhouse plants are simply amazing. I can't imagine how much fun it must be to have your very own greenhouse! wow! My cousin plants loofahs and I'm lucky she keeps me supplied with those wonderful, funky scubbies!

Hopefully I can get to planting my annuals in the next couple of weeks. Our weather is still ify.

The plants from Darvonda are so awesome. I live close enough to visit there in person and they always have the nicest displays and healthy plants.

I've never done a meme (is that what it's called?) I'm inspired by the lovely garden photos and thought I'd share my own.

It's so cool to think you started everything in your greenhouse from seed. You've already got so many flowers blooming in there.
Our weather has been weird too. Cold and rainy, then the sun pops out and everyone runs outside until the next rain starts. Guess that's Spring for you.
Hope the snow especially stops there.

I think Mother Nature has been playing fast and loose with the weather all over the continent!

We had HOT days for awhile, and now we have cool, and it's all topsy turvy. My perennials are about 10 days ahead of their usual schedule.

Your greenhouse is amazing. I am in AWE. It must smell divine in there -- good earth and green things growing and blooming! Plus, fertilizer! :-) Thanks for hosting.

Wow Tootsie - I go MIA for a couple of weeks and come back to find that you have an enormous greenhouse bursting with gorgeous flowers and plants! How do you find the time to do all that? I'm exhausted just thinking about it! :)

Alea of Premeditated Leftovers suggested I join you this Friday. I followed all the rules and here I am enjoying your blog. You must have two green thumbs! What kind of fertilizer do you use? Wow! I envy you that greenhouse.

We had the heat on two days ago and tomorrow it supposed to reach 93 degrees! Just crazy!

Hi Tootsie,
I just love all your plants in your greenhouse! It's a garden all to itself. Do you have a place to sit in there? I think I'd hang out in there waiting for the weather to warm up.

I hope you are feeling better.

I just got my link put in. My mom called me at suppertime, as I was about to pay for some plants at our university's arboretum sale. She wanted me to go to an outdoor concert with her, where a friend's son was performing with his university's jazz groups. We rarely do things together, so I couldn't say no. I bought a good sandwich to eat there. I was starting to go through computer withdrawal, though. LOL
