It is with a broken heart that I write this post. The tears won’t stop, and the memories are flooding in.
Today is a difficult day in my house. Today we said goodbye to a member of our family. Miss Poo turned 12 on the 23rd of August. She was my oldest baby. I have had her since she was just a few weeks old…been through thick, thin, good bad and lots of love with her.
She is a pure bred Sheba Inu. She is loving and silly and gentle. One of the brightest dogs I have ever seen, she could even spell the words ‘walk’ and ‘bath’. She will be very sadly missed in our house forever, but fondly remembered always.
If you would please pray for my children to heal from this loss, it would be appreciated.
Lots of Love Miss Poo…we miss you already.

The loss of a cherished pet is incredibly difficult; they become so much a part of the family and their loss is deeply felt. I will pray for you all.
I know ya'll are hurting and am so sad to hear this. I'm hoping that the pain will pass soon and that you'll remember all the good times with her.
Your friend,
Ramona

We have found healing in creating a memorial garden for our pets. My blue and white perenial garden is my children's loving tribute to their guinea pigs.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.♥

So sorry about your precious doggie. When we had to put our border collie to sleep...was one of the hardest things we ever had to do. Didn't think we would ever have another dog..but now we have two wonderful pooches again. They don't replace her...but they did help heal our hearts. Will be praying for you and your kiddos.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I hope your family's hearts mend soon. One of the hardest lessons in life is to lose someone you love. Too bad we can't keep them from ever feeling that pain. When you are all ready, a new puppy in your lives will help ease the suffering. There's no replacing but having another dog to love makes you feel good inside. I certainly know the feeling. Thunder is our fourth dog and each one before still holds a space in our family and our hearts.
BIG HUG to you and the kiddos.
