WELCOME FRIENDS!!!
I am so happy you stopped by!
Friday is a BIG day for us here at Tootsie Time…(ok, just me…there is no one else here…lol) It’s a big deal because it means it’s PARTY TIME!!!! Fertilizer Friday is the day of the week than an ELITE group of gardeners from all around the world get together, snap photos, link up and Flaunt Their Flowers!!!
If you are new to Tootsie Time and Fertilizer Friday, I just know you are asking yourself…”How do I join?”
Well…it’s easy really. Here’s all you need to know to become a part of this great group of gardeners, bloggers and friends:
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!
You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!
All I ask is that: Your post must include the logo above and/or a link to Tootsie Time, or the linky will be deleted.
So....I would like to invite each and every one of you to join in and share your photos...
I want to thank each one of you again for the sweet and supportive comments and the many many emails I have received this past week. I am so touched at the support and concern you all have shown to me. Many of the comments and emails brought tears to my eyes! I hope that I never need to return the gesture…but should the need arise…I’ll be there with bells on!
Fall is here…it has grown cooler over the last few days in Alberta. Some areas have already had frosts…I have been lucky. No frost…but it has been really windy and cold.
I did another pod cast this week with my greenhouse sister Bren. I can’t wait to share it with you all. It has been so crazy and busy here that I haven’t had time to post at all…packing and making sure the house is neat as a pin for the many viewers that want to see it, is no easy task. One good thing about it…is that my laundry is all caught up!!! haha
I have begun to choose some of the plants that I will winter inside this year…there are several that I don’t want to lose quite yet…and some that I want to keep forever, so the greenhouse is filling up fast with pots and containers of flowers and plants.
I have taken down the swimming pool to make way for plants!!!
This Geranium is about 9 years old now…I need to keep it for sure!
The Mandevilla vine never made it out this year…and seems much happier inside…it even has a few blooms on it right now!
I love my Geraniums…I am going to try to keep a couple more this year.
Hen and chicks….and a surprise banana plant…I thought the seed was no good!! lol
Another Geranium..I love the bright orange!!!
Swedish Ivy always finds a home in my house/ greenhouse ….it makes a great houseplant too!
There are houseplants sharing space with the garden plants… Time to get the pest control out!!!
I have my passion vine and a hydrangea…there is another volunteer banana in with the bacopa in one of those pots too that I want to take out.
The wistertia…is once again giving me a run for my money…not sure what I am doing wrong…but the leaves are not looking so good…I treated for spider mites…so maybe that will help.
I have two more passion vines and a couple other things I want to winter in here… to bring in. We expect frost this weekend…and that is not a good thing!
The greenhouse is filling up….but as long as I can see the floor…there will be room for one more!
So? what are you waiting for…lets get flaunting!
Wishing you hugs, smiles and a safe
and happy weekend…thanks to all who have taken the time to visit, comment and flaunt with me!
Until Next time…Happy Gardening!

I am envious of your large greenhouse to overwinter plants - especially a geranium that old!
Surprises in pots can be nice but not so much if you can't figure out what they are.

Have a great weekend!

Packing-bleh! But, it's a great way to sort through things. Best of luck Glenda!
Don't know if this will help or not, Wisteria doesn't like to stay wet, it's quite drought tolerant. Mine in the ground yellows if we water it too much, the leaves also yellow and fall off as it goes into it's dormant stage. ((hugs))
Our temps dropped 20 degrees in MS yesterday.

I'm late...but I am here. I hope that counts. Your passion for gardening show more than anyone I have ever known in my life...and that's a long..long..time!
Hugs!
Doesn't if feel like it's too early for frost? I know in reality it's not, but I just can't get used to the thought of fall, yet. I still remember your greenhouse packed to the rafters with petunias and all your beautiful hanging baskets this spring. Doesn't seem possible it's time to reverse the process already!
Hugs to you, dear lady!
