The current state of my gardens!

What do you get when you cross one of these....
With one of these.....?Well.....take a look!
What you get is one MAD mom!
This nice little mess used to be a tea cup on a post. It matched the tea pot bird bath. I bet you also know that "NO ONE" knows how it happened! lol Good thing they are cute...and that I know how to make a new one.
It has finally melted off a little here....BUT it is NOT pretty in my garden right now. It looks like a war zone to say the least.

Dead-Ugly and full of garbage, dog poop and toys from the winter.
One of us has ants in his pants to get the boat out of the storage area of the yard....(didn't anyone tell him that there is still ice on the lakes?)
Once we get the truck and the boat out into the parking pad....the kid's trampoline will be set up here...the hockey net and all the awful pucks etc will be back here...and the basketball net too!

Say hi Busy!!!!!!

Green grass? What green grass!!!!! Come on Spring......Spring already!!!!

Makes me wonder if I was ever here....or if it was just a dream....lol

Maybe there is some hope after all!!!! My lilac has buds! woo hoo!!!!

Guess where I am going next?

Yep! one shot of the greenhouse.....more to come next time! This is the only indication that spring is on it's way to Alberta!
Now do you all see why I am so envious of your gardens right now?

Toots, that was the cute....iest
little tea pot too. My grass is green but that's about all, some of the bushes are turning green but I don't have any flowers out yet. It's been cold her too. Warm this week-end with 80 degree weather. I am going to send it your way my friend. Yeah, these men get more anxious this us when it comes to their toys. Have a great week-end. You could ship all those beautiful plants to me and then come dowm and help me plant them all in my yard; like a little vacataion for you. Ha ha.

Your yard looks so different from the winter. I can't wait until you plant all the flowers!
HI BUSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your outside looks like mine!!! Not much going on - certainly no green grass. My lilacs have a few buds, too. Guess we'll just have to envy all of those southern gardeners. Have a good weekend. Sally

I have plenty of 'green' but not much color yet. I really need to get some spring perennials down next fall - I always forget!! Most of my stuff comes out in very late spring to early summer. I love the annuals, but they are too much work for me.

It's really amazing how you transform all of that, and look at all those beautiful plants in the greenhouse. Looks like a lot of work ahead but you have everything you need! You have just about convinced me that I need a greenhouse!

Sorry about the teapot - that 'No One' person sure gets around don't they? They used to be be over at my house a lot!

Can't wait to see the transformation!

Well down here in the sunny South in TN, you know Elvis, Dolly, Justin etc, it finally warmed up today to 87 degrees and clear blue skies with a breeze. Everything has turned green practically overnight. I was beginning to wonder if we would ever see spring. I hope it will be warm and green any day for you too Tootsie.

Kids can't let them out of the cages...lol..just kidding. I know you will be so glad when spring gets there. We had spring, now summer, it is looking good here but give it a month and everything will be dying for water and from the heat.
You green house looks great, can't wait to see your yard in a month or 2.

I know what you mean by the yard looking like a war zone. I tried to take some pix and it was darn ugly! Too bad about your little teacup, though. But your greenhouse looks great! ~ Robyn

Oh, Tootsie! I am sorry about the teapot! I know you'll have it replaved within no time. Things are really slow around here, too!! The grass is starting.. to turn green. It has been fun watching them post beautiful gardens and yards. But, I an green with envy right now, too!! We have to stick together sis!! You make me smile. I'll make you smile. That's what friends are for. I have missed you!

I was feeling the same way - still do a bit cause I'm up high and about 2 weeks behind everyone else. Anyway I'm finally getting some and I feel very confident you will too - sorry it's snowing again dang! That doesn't help ya think positive does it?
Glad you're back - I was happy to see ya stopped by.

You're not that far behind us. We just barely started to green up but now they're saying snow over the weekends again. Let's hope it's just in the mountains and not on the valley floor where I live! I too am envious of our buddies down south who are enjoying flowers and springtime!! Spring will come again to us, I know it will or I'll lose my mind soon! LOL!

Oh dear, so sad to see the teapot shattered! I would be so tempted to cut the handle off the hockey stick, paint it, and use it to hold up your next cup! You could use the hockey puck as a base, lol. Just kidding of course, but as a mom of boys, I sure do sympathize.

Its still cold here in Ohio, at least until tomorrow, and only the daffodils and crocuses are out so far, well plus grape hyacinth and dandelions. It won't be long until your yard is gorgeous soon.
