By Popular Demand....Greenhouse Update

After many requests for a greenhouse tour...
...Here is the view from the front door first thing this morning....
It was a fairly warm day today.....not too hot or sunny....so I got busy and pulled some energy out of my butt and brought all of the plants out for some fresh air.
Yea...(groan) the hockey net is still there....I didn't show the close up of the black puck scars that are all over the siding....(he calls them goals....I call them near death experience if they don't come off!)My big pots for this year....
that's the view when it is empty...
5 hours later and the floor has been removed....(the foam tiles anyways...lol) things have been hosed down and it is time to slowly move my aching body to put them all back inside (we still have frost at night here for about 3 more weeks)

I am very disappointed in my greenhouse this year....(a story I will save for a later post)

The hanging pots got haircuts...so that they would fit back inside...lol speaking of which...why is it that it all fit before I took it out.....?????
I bought a tray of Calibrachoa....as I can't get seed for them...and will most likely need to buy more trays of other things that did not do well this year....but the hanging baskets are doing okay...
And that's all she wrote!

Wow, sorry to hear you are disappointed with the green house, from this view it looks great. I can't remember, do you use all the plants in your own garden or to you grow for others too? I know how much energy and passion it takes to accomplish such a task, you are an accomplished gardener. By the way it is good to have you back! Happy Gardening!~Jacque

"Disappointed"? "Okay"? Are you kidding me. It looks Fab U Lous!
I know I'm new to your blog and I may have just missed this, but do you do this for a living or as an artistic output, cause girl, you are the master. To live where you do and have everything just waiting to go, I am so impressed!

Oh Tootsie I don't see how you can be disappointed with all those wonderful plants in your greenhouse!

A friend gave me 3 different old fashion rose bushes and an old lilac today - we got those planted but like you there is still frost here for 2 more weeks.

Been thinking of you friend and praying!

I hate it that you still have some cold nights. It dosen't give you mush time just to enjoy the flowers, till the cold weather comes back. We have had so much rain that I think I am going to start building a big boat. I tryed to paint the deck and the rain washed the paint off. Now we have to do it again. Kathy

Wow, I'm so impressed. I can't believe you would haul it all out and then put it all back! I bet you're sore after that. Was Busy any help while you did this?! LOL! You have such a beautiful passion for plants. I wish I could fly you down here just for a week to help me get this stupid yard in shape! Maybe if you just talked to my flowers they might not all be dead! Pretty sure we've lost about 1/3 of our plants in the rock garden. The early bloomers just didn't come back but the secondary ones are now blooming. Oh well, guess I better get motivated and get some new plants in there soon! Cindy

Nice - your greenhouse is packed as packed can be. When you set them all out in the yard it looks like a super store! I'll bet the nurseries love to see you coming! You work soooooo hard getting them ready.

Beautiful!!! What a bounty of blooms you have. (thanks for indulging me as I talked about my "baby" on my last post. You have your own "baby," so I know you know how it goes. You love when it's done. (smile) SO, I'm thinking about a yoga/garden room. So not just a greenhouse. Found it interesting that you suggested the garage kit. And it looks like you did hard woods? You did your own design? I look forward to your post on this!!!

Now THAT'S a greenhouse.......I'm greeeeeeen with envy. How lovely. We live in a little planned community and greenhouses will never happen here....against the "law".... Darn it all.
