Hello Bloggers/ Gardeners/ Friends!!!! It’s Friday again already and that means it’s time to flaunt our flowers, gardens and all things green!
Now if you are not familiar with the rules of this little party…here they are;
If it is spring or summer where you live, you need to snap a few photos of what you have growing, blooming or just love to look at that is of the plant variety…if it is winter where you live, you may post past favorite photos…or indoor plants…whatever you like. The only criteria is that it is a plant or something growing!
You do not need to use fertilizer to participate in this party, but if you do, this is the reminder to fertilize weekly!
Your post must include the logo above and a link to Tootise Time, or the linky will be deleted. I don’t mean to be harsh, but there have been a lot of people linking in and when the participants graciously click over to their blogs, there is no sign of Fertilizer Friday anywhere to be found. This is not fair to those who do follow the rules, therefore…well you know!
So? what are you waiting for? Get outside, feed, water, snap and post!
So…this week I did a little weeding…and lot of painting, among other things that I am obligated to keep up with. I took a couple days off from the garden to do some inside stuff. Of course today, when I wanted to be outside preparing for the big post of the week, it decided to pour rain ALL DAY. So…When I went out to take the photos for this post I was surprised! (I was also lucky…it wasn’t 5 minutes after I came back inside to post…that a huge storm broke out…wind rain and just awful!)
It’s all a little waterlogged…but it is blooming!! Snap dragons are up…sweet peas are up…it’s all so full!!! (so full that you can’t hardly see the weeds! ha-ha)
The bike bed looks soooo pretty and full! *)
I was shocked to see how huge this little hanging pot was on the gate!!! Ka-BOOM! it just exploded this week.
The Hosta is blooming!
I built a new bed! seriously??? how can you be surprised….it’s me we’re talkin about here…haha
It is at the back end of the greenhouse…all filled with perennials…and…
yep! I re-made an old trellis to become an awning arch type thing over the window. I hope that virginia creeper gets up there quick, because it’s not the prettiest…but it will be hidden soon, so pretty wasn’t all that important to me.
Remember when I said the Hydrangeas are blooming? Well…take a look at this!!! This is HUGE!
This is just one bloom!!! There are three this size in total…what? you don’t believe me that it is huge???
there! Happy now??? “Busy” is 5 years old…and the bloom is the same size as her head! (she says hi Grammie…and Grampie…and Gloria!…and all her fans! ha-ha)
My Beta Grape is bigger this year than any other year…and the ‘bestest’ part…
it is loaded with teensy little clusters of grapes! They are bitter and not good for eating…so I leave them for the birds… (judging by the quantity of bird droppings I wash off the sidewalk every morning) they are very happy to hang out here. Ha ha!
So for this week that is all I have to share…BUT….I have a garden of a follower to share with you all before I sign off…
Her “handle” is Karen and here’s what she has to say:
“I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!! you make me smile thank you so much for the beauty you create on the inside and out.... I don't have a blog at this time but I hope to this fall....so I'm including a picture of one of my 14 gardens they are small but I hope to enlarge and add...soon but keep on making me smile and teaching we sure do appreciate you.....take care God Bless Karen “
Is this not just dreamy? I love it…the lilies are so pretty!
Thank you Karen…Your flowers are fantastic! I love the chair too!! I can't wait till she starts that blog she mentioned!!! I will be a first follower for sure!
so..there you have it folks…my garden…and Karen’s flaunt! Now it’s your turn! Lets get flaunting!!! I can hardly wait to see ! (and since I made it around last week…there is a chance I might this week too!!! ha-ha)
A big thanks to all who regularly flaunt, visit and comment. I appreciate each and every one of you. The inspiration and fellowship is beyond what words can say.
With that….I wish you a very safe and happy weekend…and to my three biggest fans…winks!!! (you know who you are!) *) *) *)
Happy flaunting all!!!

What the fuh??? I'm first? YIPPEE!!! Because I can't sleep. Took a break from wedding plans to take some photos to join the party. Your gardens are beautiful and I need some KA BOOM in my gardens. Busy is beautiful...(she must have a small head, lol) Great hydrangea bloom. And yes your garden guest has a dreamy photo there!! Love ya Toots...
Wow, everything at your place seems to have a bit of Ka-boom.
Happy Friday! Your hydrangeas are gorgeous!! I love your trellis archway idea. Thank you for hosting. I'll put a link in my post and I carry your logo in my sidebar under my Friday parties.
Have a great weekend!
Sharon
All very pretty! Lots of rain for you? lucky girl. we had a real rainy day today and I could hear a sigh of relief from my very thirsty garden. Nothing waters the garden like mother nature can. It was very wonderful to hear that rain this morning. Love the lilies!
Tootsie!! Your garden is soooo beautiful and i enjoy reading your blog and seeing your beautiful pics! You really inspire me a lot. Don't stop showing us your beautiful garden, kay!! xxxhugs
Hey Tootsie... your annuals still look so nice... many of ours have succumbed to the amazing heat and very high humidity that we've been experiencing this last couple of weeks. I pretty much stay out of the garden until things cool down ( including the mosquitoes)... then I'll pull out whatever has burned out ... I've started 250 ornamental cabbage and they've all just now germinated... wishful thinking? a garden full of color through December? We'll see... have a good weekend... Larry
Well, I am impresses with your grapes. I love anything in the garden that you can eat!! THey look very exotic.
Oh how pretty. Everything looks just gorgeous. I would sure love a few flowers. With the ll0 to ll8 temps around here, there is nothing left blooming. Oh well, come the end of Sept. I can plant a few things and they might make it. Hugs, Marty
They all look so wonderful! Can't believe the size of the hydrangea bloom!!
*hugs*deb
Doesn't look rain soaked to me! Your yard is beautiful. That is some hydrangea!!!
As always, your flowers and gardens are just gorgeous. (Like that little flower next to the hydrangea...it looks so smiley!)
Look at that cute little princess you have in your garden! Your daughter is super precious!!!! Is that a passion flower vine growing in one of those photos?
Your bike bed is a riot of colour ... just beautiful! Love the Hydrangea too ... it's simply huge! I can't believe how you hanging pot on the gate hasn't collapsed under the weight of those blooms ... it's smashing!
I love that trellis you created out of an old one. I just happen to have an old one very similar ... just need a spot to put it now. Your garden looks wonderful, as always.
Good Morning, Tootsie,
Your gardens continually look more gorgeous every time I stop by and check out your photos.
Wow, the petunias hanging on your gate are amazing. I love how full they've gotten. It looks like it should be so heavy it could bring the gate down. ;-)
I hope your arch fills out for you just like you are hoping it will. I can't wait to see photos as it grows.
The hydrangea are so beautiful. I can never get mine to have globe shaped heads. They always come out a little elongated and pointy at the top. I wonder what in the world I'm doing wrong. I love the photo of "Busy". She's so danged adorable! Oh my gosh, what a cutie pie.
I have a question for you, do the grapes get tangled in everything? Is it a constant challenge to keep them trimmed back? Oh, that was two questions. Oops. lol
Hi Karen! I hope you will start blogging in the fall. Your photos of your lilies are very beautiful and I would love to drop by and become a follower if you do start one up. Let us all know!
Happy Gardening everybody.
Thank you once again, Tootsie, for hosting another gorgeous Friday of Flaunt Your Flowers.

Your garden is full of blooms and so colourful. Busy is very very cute. I'd like to pick her up and play with her. The grape plant looks very promising.
Wow, don't let that bid hydrangea get the best of Busy. How beautiful Tootsie they both are. You smarty pants, I see how you fixed up that new awning trellis. Clever girl! Another new bed, who you? LOL! Your beds are so full and beautiful. What bike?? :-)
No time to post today, but I wanted to comment on how beautiful all of your gardens are ... nice trellis.
I love the chair and angel in Karen's garden! And her lilies are to die for.I also love your trellis arch thingy! Great use of it. I look forward to photos when it gets filled. in.

Hi Tootsie, I think my first comment got lost in cyberspace! I can't believe how lush everything looks in your garden. I am going to have to water again with the heat everything is drooping.
Eileen
Your header bed is just gorgeous! You are so creative and your thumb is definitely green. Beautiful hydrangea and what a little sweetheart you have!
Beth
What a gorgeous garden and in all this heat too! Hydrangeas are awesome!
Hi, What a gorgeous garden! I especially loved the hydrangeas - some of my favorite flowers! My senior mom prefers the hostas when gardening and would love yours!
Thanks for a fun Friday :)
Tootsie your garden is MAGNIFICENT!!
It looks so manicured and colourful.
This is a first for me as I have never linked up to any "party" before ,just getting to grips with the computer!
Looking forward to more,thanks!
Everything looks so lush and beautiful. It has really grown since last visit! Wow(-: Nothing looking good here. I do have a hibiscus that bloomed I guess I could have taken a pic of that(-: We are done here I think. If the temps cool down then maybe things will perk up again in September(-:
Back to work for me on Monday...I can't believe Summer vacation is over!
Oh how I long to have a yard like yours! It's wonderful to see the way your yard reflects your love of plants and creating beautiful corners and scapes for us to enjoy!
Your neighbors MUST be just delighted with you.
One thing I have noticed. When one person in a neighborhood keeps their yard up, it is an incentive for others to do the same. And...Tootsie, it is working! Slowly, but it is working! Our neighbors are at least beginning to water their lawn...and it is beginning to turn green! Watching a dead lawn suffer is....almost like watching a person wither away ...you know?
Of course you do!
Hugs!
